"What character are you?" A strange and curious voice asked.

I turned my head to find an innocent young boy waiting patiently for my answer. He had blond, short hair and sapphire eyes. Behind him a girl with blond pigtails and freckles clutched his shirt, hiding her face.

"Huh?" I asked him. Turning from where I was sleeping I looked up at the boy and girl, they repeated the question.

"What character are you, Mister? As in are you a hero or are you a bad guy?" I sat up, my shirt sagging at my waist, rubbing my head I yawned a bit. And simply answered, "None."

"Ah. Well to be exact." I paused as the two stared at me in confusion. The girl continued to tug at the boy's shirt and continued to stare at me. Their faces basically told me they wanted to ask more questions, but couldn't find any way to phrase it.

I grinned at the two. I picked myself up and patted the boy's head. "You'll know when you grow up. Oh and stay away from sweets. Ok?" The two continued to stare at me as I walked down the hill. I traveled down the path as I avoided the town, enough questions for one day.

Into the deep forest a small run down hut, that was my home. Placing my hand on the wooden knob, I turned it to the right and opened the small wooden door, where I have to bend my head to get through. Upon entering the room I found something abnormal about it, there was a woman in my home.

"Hi." The woman calmly said while waving her hand.

"Uh. Hi?" I replied as I closed the door.

The woman smiled and just picked a random chair to sit in, apparently she paid no mind that she was intruding someone else's house.

"You're not freaking out that a random person appeared in your house?" She asked.

"To be perfectly honest, I am in fact  freaking out."

"Well my name is Melissa Willowood. I believe you are?" The woman stated leaping into a conversation.

"Clyde Braldthorne." I answered.

I glanced at the woman, and in fact she was 'random'. The shades of her eyes were a light lavender color while the shades of her hair were a dark chestnut color. The texture of her coat seemed shiny and the fabric of her pants was something I've never seen before.

"Any way, back to the point. I want you to join my team of Dimension Jumpers."

"I'm sorry, what?" I confusedly questioned her.

"I want you to join my team of Dimension Jumpers. Dimension Jumpers, jump between worlds or dimensions to ensure balance and power between each and every dimensions. I'm pretty sure you're interested enough to join us, won't you?" She said slyly.

"And, why would or should I be obligated to do that Ms. Willowood?" I asked while crossing my arms.

"Because Mr. Braldthorne, you've hated this place since day one haven't you?" She stated a harsh fact and although annoyed I let her continue.

"True, this is a wonderful world. A happy-ending setting while black and white are clearly defined, however for a person that doesn't fall in any category this world is in fact a nightmare."

"But why, me? I'm pretty sure there are other people who is more willingly than me." I said while accidentally raising my voice.

"There are others, four in total. And you're one of them. For the reason why it's you then why don't I let you answer that. Do you want to leave a world where you're not welcomed?"

Thoughts flowed in and out of my head, as she stretched out her hand in front of me. 'Leave a world where I'm not welcomed?' OF COURSE!

"Yes. I want to leave and join your team." I proudly answered as I took her hand. There was no turning back anymore,  I'm leaving this black and white world.
