Hayden P.O.V.
Mel smiled at us. "So how was the mission?"
Harold, Asriel, Clyde and I all groaned as Melissa finished her question. Everyone kept on eating, trying to busy themselves so no one had to answer the question. Not really liking the silence, I decided to answer her question, but not to the description she would like.
"The mission," I paused trying to think of a way to phrase my answer nicely, "let's just say it wasn't my all time favorite."
"No need for the sarcasticness." Melissa snapped
I smirked and stuffed another piece of cake in my mouth. Not even stopping to chew I watched as George bring out the other cake as we had finished the first. Standing up I grabbed a knife and cut a piece of cake, sliding the whole cake except for the piece I cut onto my plate. Everyone stared shocked as I sat back down in my seat. I shrugged off their stares and picked up my fork about to dig in until Asriel came running towards me and shoved my face into the cake.
"Revenge is sour isn't it?" Asriel asked sweetly.
Slowly I raised my head, and glared at the table. Standing up, I got ready to find Asriel and take my revenge, revenge.
"Sit back down! Put the squashed cake back in the middle of the table, you aren't going to eat the whole thing by yourself, Asriel get back here and finish your dinner!" Melissa shouted at us.
Reluctantly, we both did what we were told as Clyde and Harold laughed at us. That is until I took the boomerang of death and placed it on the table. It was a sign that if they didn't stop, their heads were coming off their body. I put half the cake back and ate what was on my plate, before grabbing the rest of the cake as well. Melissa glared at me and I handed her a place.
"Dinner's over, take it to your room." Melissa instructed.
Everyone got up, taking their plates except for me. Dang it, I got myself into an unnecessary lecture. I rather by in Kronos's lessons than here this. Clyde smirked at me while Harold and Asriel waved. I shot all of them death glares as I quickly glanced at the giant in front of me.
Clyde's P.O.V.
As Melissa finished her instructions, everyone except Hayden grabbed their plates and headed to their rooms. Turning the corner I caught Hayden's vengeful glare, but as I am I ignored it and headed towards "our" room.
Opening the rough door I crossed over to "my side" of the room as Harold made his way carefully to "his side" of the room.
Avoiding the long, fat silver tape in the middle of the room, I made sure not to touch the left side. Closing the door, Harold stormed in seeming annoyed.
Sitting on his bed a squinted and noticeable pained expression formed over his face. Glancing up, an unsatisfied look crossed his expression.
"Glad to see you're not injured." Harold scowled.
"Thanks." I replied while tilting my head. Harold was obviously not letting the topic drop. Fixing his posture Harold immediately replied.
"I. Was. Being. Sarcastic." He said, pausing between each phrase. Ever so slightly I shrugged my shoulders and leaped to the bathroom. Grabbing my towel and change of clothes, I entered the bathroom and locked the door.
"Dimwit." He mumbled between his breath,
Turning on the cold water I dived into it, ignoring the small mumbles that Harold commented.
Hayden's P.O.V
"Go to your room for the rest of the day." Melissa instructed
"Fine." I said dragging out the word as I got out my seat. Making my way to the Asriel and I's room. Swiftly sitting next to Asriel on her bed, I smiled a little bit as she looked at me confused.
"So what happened down there?" She asked me
"Just a grounding for a couple days, nothing much. We should play a board game." I suggested.
"Monopoly." She immediately agreed
"Go get Clyde, I'm pretty sure he wants to get out of that room of his. Before he and Harold tear a hole in the dimension fighting over stupid stuff." I told her.
She walked out of the room, leaving me to get the game that was at the top of the closet. Grabbing my stepping stool from under my bed, I went to my closet. Setting it on the floor, I stood on it and grabbed the beloved game. We play all the time, usually to pass time or just to do something.
"I'm doing the housing." Asriel whispered, a determined look in her eyes.
"I guess, I'm banker." Clyde answered tiredly.
"Which means I go first." I concluded jumping to the floor. We started setting up the game and arguing about who should go after me. In the end, we did it by height and Asriel went next then Clyde.
Halfway through the game, we started throwing things at each other to distract when we were rolling the dice. I decided to ask a plain question, hoping someone wouldn't answer too angrily.
Clyde P.O.V
"So, how did your part of the mission go?" Hayden conveniently pried. Shifting positions on the couch, I slumped while answering the question.
"The mission went quite well." I answered.
"You mean your part of the mission went quite well." A very familiar voice entered the conversation.
Glancing to my right an image of a medium height man came from the corner of the room. He had an irritated look while he made his way to the center of the room, his dirty blonde hair covering his eyes at the moment, burying his fiery expression.
Pressing against the couch I turned towards his comment.
Feeling the tension between us Asriel and Hayden decided to step out,
"Excuse me, but I didn't ask for your opinion." I remarked as calmly as possible. Harold's eye immediately twitched at the sound of the words, hastily he sat down on the opposite side of the couch.
"Braldthorne, you do not have the right to remark against me when you haven't done a single thing on the mission!"
"Then Quintell, you don't have the right to remark against me, because I did contribute to the mission!" My voice raised and toppled over his.
"You-!"
"Harold. Clyde. Stop!" A soft but controlled voice entered the conversation.
Calmly but sternly, Melissa pushed back any words we had left in our thoughts.
"Listen, guys we've been over this subject. Do not fight in the house, if you want to beat the shit out of each other I can set up a sparring match tomorrow."
"Gladly" we both said in harmony despite our furiousness.
