It felt like an eternity. Frisk couldn't see, She couldn't understand, She can't process the thoughts escalating through her brain. Her mind felt scrambled, the thoughts couldn't load.
All of a sudden-THUMP-
"ugh.." She lifts up her right arm, trembling as she rose it to touch your temple. She was massaging it because she had gotten a headache from, what it seems, a fall. She had fallen, but how? Frisk looks around and then looked up. It seemed like a hole, it was bright and the light warmed her cold pale-like skin. It was suppose to be dark out since she left before midnight, how long was she asleep?
She looks down to surprisingly find herself on a bed of yellow shimmering daisies, she realized a bed of daisies broke your fall. As she sat on her knees-there trying desperately to process what the hell is going on.
"Howdy!", an unfamiliar voice interrupted her thoughts. She saw a yellow daisy in front of her, it talked and it was greeting her. She looked at it, uncertain whether she would trust it.
" I'm flowey, flowey the flower!", smiling as the flower spoke,
" You aren't from around here aren't'cha?" Frisk nodded slowly.
"Golly! You must be so confused! Someone 'ought to teach you how things work around here!"
Crossing her legs she sat down adjusting herself to prepare herself to listen to this flower. Suddenly she noticed a red glowing shaped heart emerging from her chest, Frisk grew nervous and glanced at the strange flower.
" You see that? That is your SOUL. The very culmination of your being! Your soul can grow with lots of LOVE. Down here, love can be shared through.." A shit evil grin appeared on the flowers face.
" Little white 'friendliness' pellets..Ready?Lets Go!" White pellets were facing towards her soul, ready to plunge in.
"Get as many as you can!" It chuckled as it was heading towards her. She can't trust it she thought to herself so she dodged the pellets.
" Hey buddy.. You missed.. Let's try again! Shall we? It quickly shot near her as she dodged again.
" w HaT are yOU dOInG. You tHinK t His is a jOKe?" It's demonic voice rose up, hoarse.
" YOU KNOW WHATS GOING ON DON'T'CHA?", the flower grinned from petal to petal as its fangs appeared.
"D I E." It's rash voice screeched frustrated.
White twirling pellets surrounded her soul, her heart began to squirm around anxiously hoping she won't get hurt.
"Help! Ugh! Don't you dare!!" Frisk yelled as she curled herself into a ball and shut her eyes as tight as possible.
"Hey! " the flower screeched farther away. Opening her left eye to take a peek she saw a lady like goat in front of her kneeling. Frisk backed away quickly shuffling her feet to move as far as she can.
"Do not be afraid my child.." It spoke softly, it calmed her.
" I am Toriel" she smiled so kindly it soothed her headache.
Frisk stood up and ran into her, almost instinctively, hugging her before she began to finish her sentence to tell her more.
" Toriel.. Thank you.." Nuzzling her, feeling the cotton soft dress, almost like hugging a cloud. Her Furry white hands patted her head, brushing her bangs away from her eyes.
" Toriel..", you whispered.
"Yes my child?" She stroked your hair and gave her a comforting smile.
" I want to leave this place, I don't know where to go or where to stay-" interrupted, Toriel spoke excitedly, " You can stay with me my Child! Here in the ruins, my home is big enough for us to live in, I ca-" Frisk interrupted her back, almost afraid to say,
" I'm sorry Toriel, I can't be held captive here.. There's somewhere out there for me to go! I need to go home.."
She shifted her eyes to her feet, as pearl-like tears formed at the corner of her yes.
" I need to.." Soft yet gentle hands touched her plumed peach cheek,
" My child.. You are much like the others.. They all want to leave .. But you.. You seemed determined, determined enough to make sure that you, yourself will live. I'll guide you to the door" she spoke confident and comforting.
" But take this my child, you can call me if you are in need of assistance" she placed the gray small cellphone on Frisks' hand.
" I'll lead you, follow me precious one" , gently grabbing her hand to walk along with her.
As Frisk walked in her house down the stairs and towards the end of the corridor in front of the door, she felt anxious. Tugging on Toriel's sleeve she caught her attention.
" Toriel.. Is it .. Mean out there? Will I be safe?" Tightly holding onto her awaiting for her response.
" My child .. I have faith in you.. You'll be safe." Slightly letting go of her sleeve Frisk moves forward, her sweaty palm touched the glossy surface door. She felt the carved details of illustrations beneath her fingers as she slowly glides her hand down to then grip on the handle of the door. Frisk suddenly felt courage, she opened the door as her heart beat as fast as a jack rabbit.
She is filled with determination.
