"I'm nervous as hell" said Cheryl as her make up artist made sure her make up was perfect for the big moment.

"They'll love you" Kimberley replied from the back of the small room, looking at Cheryl through the mirror, who was looking back at her.

"Yeah Queen C, you'll walk it" commented Cheryl's hair stylist, making everyone in the room laugh. There was a knock at the dressing room door.

"Cheryl's you're on in ten minutes, love" she nodded to him before he ran back out, obviously a busy man.

"You're looking stunning, sweetie" said her hair stylist. Cheryl smiled then turned to the others in the room.

"Could I have a minute alone with Kimberley?" she asked. They all nodded to her.

"Don't forget, ten minutes" said Lily as she left the room, leaving Cheryl and Kimberley alone in there.

"You'll be brilliant, I know it" Kimberley said, taking Cheryl's hands into her own as she stood up.

"As long as you're there backing me" she said with a shaky sigh after.

"Hey" said Kimberley, stroking away Cheryl's frown lines. "You have nothing to worry about" she said.

"I've never sung The Flood live before" she said, adding extra worry onto herself.

"You've been rehearsing like mad, Cheryl, you've got it sorted" Cheryl nodded to her, trying to convince herself. "Now I want you to go out there and do your thing" she smiled. Cheryl smiled widely back to her and kissed her, placing a hand on her belly.

They both kissed for some time before the door came flying open.

"Five minu..! Oooh... I'm sorry" the man said, a slight red colouring working its way onto his face after walking in on the two women kissing. "You've got five minutes Cheryl, you need to get out there now" he said. Cheryl looked back at Kimberley for a little encouragement.

"Come on" she said, leading her out of the room. "Lily, take Kimberley to her seat please, I'll go with these" she said, pointing the people who were sorting out the stage performances. She nodded to her. Cheryl and Kimberley shared another kiss before going their separate ways.

Kimberley watched front row of the venue as Cheryl sang her heart out on live TV. She noticed a camera facing the crowd in her direction and knew after all that was said in the papers, Kimberley would be shown a fair amount of times during Cheryl's set.

Cheryl was about to sing her last song of the night, which was the one she was worried about. She had, had a five minute break to change while the presenters found out how much money they had raised.

Cheryl came back on stage and waited for the beginning music it start, when it did, Cheryl blew a kiss to Kimberley. The older girl couldn't keep the smile off her face even though she knew millions of people would have seen it, and possibly seen her reaction to it as well.

Kimberley was dabbing her eyes with a tissue as Cheryl sang the last words of the song. She opened her eyes when she had finished and looked at Kimberley and noticed she was crying. She tilted her head to the side at her so Kimberley gave her thumbs up to tell her she was okay.

The audience clapped when Cheryl finished and one of the presenters walked over to her.

"That was unbelievable Cheryl!" he said happily. "I'm hoping it'll get you another number one" he said and the audience cheered, including Kimberley.

"Now Cheryl, everyone is wondering... is it true you're not single anymore?" he grinned. Cheryl laughed.

"That is true" she said into the microphone, some of the crowd booed but both her and Kimberley knew it was because they wanted Cheryl, not because of who she was with.

"And you and your partner are expecting a baby?" he questioned.

"Yes, we are" she said while still smiling, relieved the audience were reacting positively as they started cheering.

"We believe Miss Walsh is here in the audience tonight... give us a wave" he said as the camera was back on her. Kimberley waved shyly and bit her lip, she felt the colour raise to her cheeks.

"Do we know the sex of the baby yet?" he asked Cheryl.

"Yeah but that's just for us to know at the moment" she replied. She laughed when she heard that audiences 'ooohs'.

"Aah well, congratulations to you both and to the father, you were fantastic tonight. Everyone... Cheryl Cole!" he said with his voice raised into the microphone. Cheryl nodded her head to the audience before walking off stage.
