"Take your time why don't you Sarah!" said Kimberley as the blonde entered the club.
"Alright, alright, Miss Organised and her bird" she replied while throwing a wink at the two of them. "Where's Nic and Nadine anyway?" she wondered.
"Nadine stopped at Nicola's house, they'll be here soon" Cheryl said.
"Oh so you moan at me for being late but the other two aren't here yet?" she rolled her eyes in a joking way. "Surprised it's not you two late to be honest. I could see you both drooling over each other all the way from over there!" she said, pointing at the entrance where she came in.
"She's twenty-nine and still irresistible" Cheryl grinned, reaching for her girlfriends hand. Kimberley smiled shyly at her then at Sarah who had an amused look on her face as she sat down.
"We all coming back to mine tonight?" she asked. They'd all decided in the week as her boyfriend, Tommy, would be out but she asked again to confirm.
"Yep!" replied Cheryl, looking forward to the night ahead. She and Kimberley had planned to get completely drunk tonight as they hadn't in a very long time.
"Where's the little guy?" the blonde asked.
"With Justin" Kimberley said. "Until late tomorrow" she smiled.
"Great!" Sarah replied, thinking about where the night would take them. Everyone in the band knew how much of an animal she was when she was drunk, she loved a good party with others.
"There they are" stated Cheryl, pointing towards Nicola and Nadine who were waving and making their way over to them. The three of them waved back.
"What took you so long!?" asked Sarah as a staff member of the club came over to them and put a tray of drinks down. Sarah smiled appreciatively at him, then even more so at the drinks.
"Had to get someone to look after the dogs at last minute. Charlie had to leave the country for work" said Nicola, straight away reaching for a drink which she downed in one. She was used to Charlie going away but having no one nearby to look after the dogs was a pain.
"Ahh well, you're here now. Time for lots of drinking!" Cheryl squealed.
"Blimey, you're enthusiastic tonight Chez" stated Nadine, watching the older girl drink two drinks. She was more surprised as she saw Kimberley doing the same.
"This is a rare night of freedom and I'm really quite up for it tonight!" she said with a wide smile. Kimberley nodded in agreement, putting a glass down.
"She got you on a leash or something?" Sarah jokingly asked Kimberley. Cheryl opened her mouth in shock.
"I can think for myself thank you very much" she said, the shots effecting her brain already. She leant over and whispered in Cheryl's ear.
"I get so horny when I'm drunk" she whispered.
"Kimba!" she replied, surprised but laughing. "I better keep you away from me then" she whispered back. They glanced at each other, their eyes saying all that needed to be said.
"They're eye fucking again" Sarah commented to the two girls looking amused, watching the couple communicate. The other two girls turned to Sarah.
"Sarah" they both whined. Sarah laughed loudly in return and called the waiter over for more drinks.
"How is everyone then?" Nicola asked, directing the question at everyone.
"We're more than okay, thanks" Kimberley replied while stroking Cheryl's thigh under the table. Cheryl put her hand over her girlfriends and squeezed it slightly. The two girls loved having body contact with each other, it was when they both felt most safe.
"I'm fab too, thanks" replied Nadine. Sarah held her drink up to Nicola in a way to tell her everything was going great for her as well.
"And you Nic? I take it you've not got much further with the baby thing?" Nadine wondered, watching the younger girl knock back the drinks.
"Not just yet, no. Think I need to enjoy myself a bit more first" she smiled before sipping at her next drink.
"Oooh my God, how embarrassing" said Cheryl as her single, Promise This, came on in the club.
"It's a great song, baby" Kimberley said to her, rubbing her hand on her thigh.
"Video to the song is a bit deep though, isn't it? What actually happens at the end, Cheryl?" Sarah wondered.
"It symbolises death" she said. "Cheery, I know - but really, it's a dark song, it needed a dark video" she explained. Kimberley tensed up a little at her words and Cheryl knew the older woman always hated that part of the video because it made her think about things she shouldn't be thinking about.
"Makes sense" the Irish girl replied with a bit of a shrug.
