"I can always cancel" said Cheryl, nervously biting her perfect nails. Kimberley pulled her arm down so she wouldn't bite them.
"No babe, just go. I'll be okay" replied Kimberley after thanking her mother for the lunch she made her.
"You're about to pop though Kimberley!" Cheryl bit her lip and looked at the clock.
"My mum is here Cheryl, I will be alright" Kimberley reassured her. Cheryl still looked uneasy.
"I don't want to go" replied Cheryl, again looking at the clock noticing she was going to be late if she didn't leave in that minute.
"Mum could you give us a minute?" Kimberley said to her mum politely so she could talk to Cheryl privately. Diane nodded towards the two of them and left the room.
Kimberley slowly leant forwards into Cheryl so their lips were touching slightly. Cheryl licked the corner of her mouth, licking Kimberley's lips as she did. The younger girl pressed her lips against her girlfriends and kissed her softly.
They pulled away from each other and leaned their foreheads on one anothers.
"Promise me you or your mum will call me if it starts, as soon as it does" Cheryl sighed reluctantly.
"I promise" breathed Kimberley before leaning in to kiss Cheryl again. Cheryl held Kimberley's hands as she stood up.
"I love you" she said, cupping the older womans chin and placing another kiss on her lips.
"I love you too" said Kimberley as they broke apart. Diane came back in the room as Cheryl let go of Kimberley and picked up her bag.
"Remember to call me" she repeated, she had no idea how she would get through this photo shoot.
"Will do" said Diane. "Have fun" she added. Cheryl breathed out deeply.
"I'll try" she said while opening the door. "See you soon" she took another look at Kimberley before she closed the door and ran up to the car which had her driver waiting patiently inside.
"Go go go" she said as she got in, she wanted to get the shoot done as soon as possible.
Kimberley held her belly as she felt another kick. Diane could see the discomfort in her face and noticed she was sweating a bit so she tried to help her take her mind off it.
"Interesting to see your powers of persuasion are your lips" Diane giggled, having witnessed Cheryl and Kimberley a few moments before. Kimberley blushed slightly.
"I think Cheryl would have choked on her tea if she was here when you said that" said Kimberley in an amused tone, holding her hand behind her back as she became more uncomfortable.
"Why's that?" her mum asked. Kimberley stopped moving and looked at her, wondering what to say. She didn't exactly want to tell her mother what would have been going through Cheryl's mind - Kimberley's lips weren't only good for kissing. She continued to look at her mum.
"Oooh... sorry I asked" she blushed when she realised what Kimberley was getting at. She cleared her throat and looked anywhere but at Kimberley for a few moments.
"Do you want to have a bit of a walk?" the older woman asked. Kimberley thought for a moment before nodding. Her mum helped her up and supported Kimberley to walk, or rather waddle, around the living room for a bit.
Kimberley had to stop walking when she felt a pain in her side. She leant over, bending her back forwards slightly to ease the pain.
"What is it?" asked Diane. Kimberley had her eyes squeezed tightly shut until the pain disappeared.
"Could you get me another drink please?" she asked while standing back up straight. Diane nodded and jogged to the kitchen. When Diane was out of sight, Kimberley felt a splash hit her feet. Her eyes went wide and she looked down slowly.
"Mum!" she shouted. "Mum!" she shouted even louder, impatiently. Diane came running into the living room to see Kimberley crying out in agony.
"It's starting" she said in a panicky voice. Her looked down at the dampness around her feet.
"Oh my God, I'll call an ambulance" she said while running to get the phone.
"No!" Kimberley replied maybe a little too forcefully, but still, it got her mums attention. "Call Cheryl first" she said.
"But..." her mum started.
"Please" she begged. Diane nodded and found Cheryl's mobile number in her contacts.
