PLEASE READ THE FOREWARNING CHAPTER BEFORE YOU BEGIN READING!!!!
Lainie's POV
"Hey bitch," Derek yelled, interrupting me from my uneven circles around the small deep blue tent lined in a dull, blood stained grey fabric. Not someone else's blood, my blood. Blood shed because of Derek, my boyfriend. Before Tessa died she always told be that she was scared I would develop some kind of PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) if his "games" got any worse. And trust me, they did.
"Yes," I replied, wanting to stay as far away from him as possible because of what a monster he is, not one of the walkers, but a mind ruining monster. The type that will tell you they love you and then kick you in the gut for not getting their beer fast enough for them.
"When did I say you could leave this tent?" He asked, poking his head out the from of the tent. He already knew the answer. His long black hair in a messy nest on top of his head. He had brown stains on his face from dirt that he had never washed off. The plaid shirt he wore was plastered to his body, showing off the muscles that had two main uses, kill walkers and punch me.
"You didn't." I replied through clenched teeth. I felt my fist start to tighten. I was getting close to snapping from all of his bullshit from the past 2 years in this shitty world and that's not including before the world went to shit.
"Then what the hell are you doing up? And don't get an attitude with me, whore!" He blasted, rising his hand to point a strict finger towards me.
"Thinking about Tess." I replied in a matter of fact way, crossing my arms and leaning into one leg, popping my hip out in the opposing direction.
"It's your fault she died." he said with a slight laugh at the end of his sentence, rolling his eyes purely because he knows that someone rolling their eyes at me always makes me pissed off.
"Can you please stop saying that?" I asked slightly begging and yelling at the same time. I dropped my hands to my sides as I spoke.
"Are you catching an attitude bitch?" He asked, not giving me time to respond. "Fine then you can sleep outside tonight."
"Ughh..." I said quietly to myself, hoping Derek wouldn't hear. I knew the pain that would come soon after if he did hear.
Sadly, he could hear my sigh and came out the tent and walked up to me with a stern look on his face.
"You bitch!" He said loudly, slapping me across the face, causing me to stumble backwards.
"Oh and we're going hunting tomorrow and you don't complain one bit on our trip or I will leave you to rot and be torn apart by the beasts. Man, you're the worst girlfriend ever." He said after I had just laid down on the soft yet very moist ground outside of our tent.
I looked up from the wet ground to see him entering the tent and zipping up the closure. The tent gave a slight shake and he laid down in the dry tent under the warmth of his sleeping bag, it doesn't matter because he always claims they I'm not worthy of a sleeping bag. I gave out a last sigh as I drifted into a sleep on the wet, cold, Georgia dirt.
This was my sucky ass life with my dick for a boyfriend that I couldn't leave without living with the uncertainty that he might come and try to kill me.
Okay, sorry for the sucky chapter. I'm just trying to ease into the story and but that I mean don't worry Carl will be in the next chapter AND he will be in the prison with the whole gang, or at least who they had when they were at the prison in TWD.
Please read bellow
it's 12-13-15 so about a week since day 1 and I'm going back to check on the numbers of reads per chapter and this chapter has 32 reads and the next chapter only has 15 so, this is just for any newcomers, IT GETS 10X BETTER AROUND CHAPTER 4. Even though I'm currently in the process of coming back and making that first couple of chapters better they're still not going to be anywhere NEAR ANYTHING like chapter 10+
By loves,
