Rose: I woke up in an unfamiliar setting, turning my head I saw a tall figure in a chair next to the bed I was in. I sat up and saw that I was under a set of brown covers. Nothing fancy to it. Just a few patterns of patches here and there. It sort of reminded me of a western blanket, like the ones they used in the old Western Movies. I smiled and realized I was in Guardian Belikov's room. Wait... Why in the hell would I be in his room for? I turn't my head towards the chair and finally saw Dimitri sitting there with one if his novels in his hands. I wasn't exactly sure why he read them, but, that was just him I suppose. I blinked a couple of times and said, "Dimitri, why am I in your bed? What am I doing in your room?"

He gently placed the book on the table and watched me, not saying a word for a few seconds. "Do you remember anything, Roza?" His voice, soft and concerned, was low in tone so that only I could hear. It was a bit crazy because I was pretty sure we were the only ones here.

Thoughts suddenly came back to me. Jesse. The rape. I shuddered. I wondered if he saw what Jesse made me do. The bite was the worst part. I suddenly squeezed my eyes shut tightly, not wanting to think about it. All of a sudden I felt Dimitri's soft, warm hands taking mine. "Rose, talk to me. Why would he do this? Did you even consent to it?"

Images floated in my head to the point where I couldn't think straight. My breathing had picked up, and my head started to shake in a no gesture. I didn't want to talk about this. Protect Abe. My mind hissed at me constantly. Don't let them find out. Don't let them know about the files. Don't give anything away.

"Roza, answer me." His voice was firmer, but still had that same softness to it as well. I shook my head, fighting tears back. I heard a loud ding! and instantly knew it was a text message. Dimitri looked over at my jacket that sat at the end of the bed. He got up, retrieving it and handed it to me. I opened the text and saw it was from Abe.

' Haven't heard from you in a while. Everything okay? -A'

I quickly texted him. 'Yeah, fine.'

'Have you received any information?'

'No, not yet. Nothing had been at the party. I'll let you know as soon as I find anything out. But, as of right now, I am with Guardian Belikov. '

'Oh. I see. Why don't you try and getting the files from him? Or anything out of him?'

'Sure. Will report back to you when I have something. '

I placed the phone beside me on the bed and played with my thumbs as I felt Dimitri's eyes on me. I looked up, meeting his brown gaze. "What?"

"Who was that?" He asked, nodding towards the phone. " And has Jesse ever touched you before this?"

I sighed running a hand through my hair. " Honestly comrade? It was my Father. And J-Jesse has um.. Well, he had done this three different times. "

"Why though?" Dimitri asked, tilting his head to the side so that a few pieces of his brown hair came untucked from it's ponytail holder. I adverted my gaze once more, biting my lip.

"Roza. Please tell me."

"He's blackmailing me." I whispered shakily as I couldn't return his gaze.

"What do you mean he's blackmailing you, Rose?"

" My Father and I are undercover, we need a certain Moroi file, but, we don't know who to ask for them. I thought maybe you could help us?"

Dimitri looked at me and raised a brow. " What Moroi?"

I shrugged. " Father wouldn't tell me."

" If you get him to tell you, I may be able to go into the archives to see what I can do."

"Really?" I looked up at him with hope in my eyes.

He nodded. " Yes." He paused for a moment. " But you'd have to get the name."

I nodded. " Okay, sounds like a mission."

He nodded and smiled warmly at me. Which, in return, made me smile right back at him.
