Lissa: I walked out of my room, wearing a purple dress that came to my knees. It was made of silk and had a black trim cut on the bottom of the dress. It was very very beautiful. I had my hair down and straightened and a bit of eye makeup. I had on a pair of black pumps that strapped around the ankles. Hey, a girl had to have at least one pair of those types of shoes. I smiled as I had my silver purse in my hand as I texted my Jill.
"You ready?"
A ding came from my phone and I looked at it. " Yes. I am in the lobby, where are you at?"
"I am coming, don't worry, Jill."
" Hurry!!" She texted. " These high heels are fucking killing me."
I giggled at her response and quickly hurried along to the Lobby.
"Hey, Jill." I said once I appeared.
"Hi yourself." She grumbled looking down at her shoes that were at least a two inch heel. As if she needed to be taller? I thought to myself as I guided her to the building where the party was suppose to be.
"Oh, be happy little one. It's your first ever real school party. You should be excited. " I said as we each got out of the black SUV as we went inside the building that was where the party was being held at. Already, you could hear loud thumps from the over big base. I smiled a bit as we walked in. It was exquisite. The inside was like a royal palace. Or so I imagined, since I haven't been to any thing other than my original home and the Mastrano's and now here.
A big grin came over my lips as I pushed open the doors to where the party was at. I ushered Jill first and she gladly went inside. Inside the room, people were dancing on the wooden dance floor as the place was dark and lighted by glow sticks and other neat tricks of light. I loved how it felt so real. My eyes searched the room and I looked back over at Jill who was literally awestruck by the whole setting. "It's great isn't it?" I shouted over to her.
"Yeah!" She replied as she looked around as well.
"Well, go and have fun, Jill!" I said.
She nodded and went off to mingle.
I smiled and went over to the punch section, skating the whole room for people that I might know from classes, but, seeing as if I hadn't met anyone I wouldn't know anyone expect Jill, and well, maybe even Dimitri. That is if he will even show up. I looked around again and saw the guy that goes by Christian. I grinned a bit and turned around and got myself something to drink. I didn't want to look like a loner, let alone a stalker; because I am not one. I felt a tap on my shoulder a few seconds later and I am now looking into a pair of pale blue eyes. Christian Ozera.
"Hi there, Lissa." He said loudly enough so that way I could hear.
"Hey!" I said loudly even though he had super hearing, so, it didn't make a lot of sense for me to yell.
"Look, I am really sorry for bumping into you earlier. I really am. " He said with a nervous smile.
"Oh, that's fairly alright. Besides, you've already apologized. " I said smiling back at him, loving the way his tux fit on him perfectly. Ugh, I seriously should stop looking at him like that. I have to focus on my guardian training. Duh. My subconscious said in her snarky tone. I promptly ignored her and watched Christian.
" So, after this party, do you maybe want to hang out afterwards?"
Oh my god... Was he asking to hang out with me? "I... Um... Yeah, sure. I'd just have to drop Jill off at her dorm."
"Alright. Cool. " He said giving me a smile.
I smiled back.
" I will see you then."
