Lissa: Two days after I told Christian I'd be his guardian I literally felt us connect. I'm not saying in what ways exactly but, from what I've seen and everything we felt when I told him, something was definitely there.

I was walking out of my room because I promised I'd go with Christian to the feeders this morning. When he asked me if I could, I couldn't simply turn him down. That's not what a Guardian does. I had agreed to meet him by the lunch room and we'd make our way there.

Once I reached the lunch room, I sat on a bench that was sitting agasint the white walls, waiting for Christian. Five minutes later, Christian appeared, and, from what I can tell of his face he seemed kind of nervous. Did he have a problem with blood? That was a question I'd ask him later.

I got up, smiling over at him. "Hey, you ready to go?"

Christian nodded and I could sense that he was putting up some type of barriers. I blinked and said, "Okay. Let's go then."

Christian : I looked over at Lissa who gave me the biggest and the most brightest smile of all the Dhampir's that I have ever met. "So, why did you move here?"

Lissa looked over at me as I asked. "Well, I haven't ever been to an Academy before. My birth parents wanted to wait until I was at least 12 to put me in school, but, it never happened." Her voice became sad and wistful.

"Oh. What happened if you don't mind me asking?"

"Well, they were off on a date, and somehow or another, they had lost control on one of the icy roads and slammed into a nearby tree. It killed both of them instantly."

I saw how badly Lissa was trying to be strong, so, I stopped and pulled her into a hug. "Shh, it's alright. "

Lissa: When I started talking about my parents, I'd never imagined being in Ozera's arms by the end of it. I gently wrapped my arms around his neck, burying my crying face in his shoulder. His scent- Cologne and bodywash wafted over me and somehow calmed me.

I took a breath as I regained myself, forcibly wiping the tears away.

"You alright ?" He asked

I nodded.

Christian: After Lissa calmed down we walked the rest of the way to the feeders. I was a bit neverous as we entered and Lissa had signed me in for a feeder.

Ten mintues later a young woman smiled as she said, "Mr. Ozera."

I slowly got up, feeling my heart in my ears and mouth.
