Y/N POV:
My body is hot and covered with sweat after this afternoon training session, It was the toughest one yet but I'm getting closer, Closer to my goal. I drop to my knees and try to catch my breath, my mind is flooded with a memory, A memory that haunts me every time I close my eyes, the memory that keeps me going in life.
Y/N flash back ten years ago
I am startled awake as a crash is heard in my home. I nervously kick off my covers and stumble out of bed as I put on my sandals and groggily walk to open my door and head downstairs. That was when my eyes met there shining armor for the first time. The Royal Knights of Queen Adira entering my family's home. my dad gets up and approaches them.
D/N: what does Queen Adira want with my family?
He gets close to the Knights and they shove him to the ground with a thud. The massive knights force my mom to kneel next to my father as my voice rings out
Y/N: mom dad what's going on??
My dad looks up at me with tears in his eyes and shouts
D/N: Y/N RUN!!!!
The pace of my heart quickens when I hear my dad yell I immediately start to rush as I get to the top of the stairs I hear a noise that makes me stop for a second, the sound of blades being unsheathed followed two thuds. I start to cry without not knowing why and hide in my closet hoping that the knights would leave that's when I heard the loud footsteps echo throughout my house. They are searching for me and it isn't long until the knights burst into my room. After combing my room they open my closet and spot me as cold wet tears start to roll down my face, the biggest knight grabs me with one hand and lifts me off my feet as my sandals fall of as my feet dangle in the air. I can feel and hear the breath of the knight as I open my eyes and I am met with his cold dark stare reading me through the slits in his helmet after a few seconds of eye contact the speaks
???: don't cry boy the queen will have plenty of work for you to do.
I scan the room and I see the other two knights walk in but they have a strange red substance on their armor and on their swords that is all I remember as my world slowly fades to black...
FLASHBACK OVER
Y/n POV
Tears start to roll down my face after suffering through that memory again I lay on my back and think about all she has taken from me. My family, My childhood, my friends and my home. I will get my revenge for what she took from me one day she will pay for what she has done.
