Jacob and Kansas...

Chapter 1

"So when is your friends getting home?" Kansas said to Jacob as she got out of his car.

"Any time between today and this weekend," he said to her.

"And you still having a little get together welcome home party for them?" she said as she leaned against his driver side door.

"Yeah I think so. I mean I haven't seen them in like three years," he said as he leaned into his car window.

"Cool. Well if you want help getting it set up I can help. My parents are out of town this weekend so I'll be around," she said as she took the water bottle from Jacob as he handed it to her.

"I got it. I really just wanna see what's all new with them before I bring new people around them. I guess I'm being selfish huh," he said.

"It's understandable," she said with a giggle. "Well guess I'll catch a ride home with someone tonight?"

"Yeah. I'm sure I'll be out with Seth and Sam getting stuff ready. If you need me, please call me," he said to her as he leaned in and kissed her cheek. She blushed, smiled, and walked into the school.

"Lets go Jacob!" Seth yelled from the back seat of the car. "I'm ready to get some beers!"

"Dude chill it down a little. It's still morning!" Jacob said as he got back into the car.

"So you still haven't told her everything huh?" Sam said as he got out of the back seat and to the front seat.

"Just haven't found the right time and if she'd accept it yet or not. I mean why bring this drama in to soon," Jacob said as he watched Kansas go into the school with a group of guys and a couple more girls.

"Let's go say our hello's and see what's all new and then you can decide when the time is right," Sam said to him. Jacob pulled away.

"Yeah dude and get some beers," Seth said again.

"Dude, we have some sitting in the cooler," Jacob snapped at him.

"Alright prepaired!!!" he said as he got one out and opened it.

"Anyway Jacob, so do you really think Bella is going to be alright with this decision?" Sam asked him as he shook his head at Seth.

"I hope she'll accept it for the most part, but I'm not sure," Jacob said as he hit the last stop light of the town before the woods.

"Dude, I don't think you have to worry about Bella, but more like Nessie. How is she going to feel?" Seth said as he cracked open his second beer.

"Yeah I thought about that too," Jacob said as he focused on the road in front of him. It started to rain.

"Big decision, due to you kind of promised yourself to her," Sam said.

"Yeah I hear ya," Jacob said again. "Anyway, lets just get there, get the house set up and I'll just deal with it when it comes time." Both Sam and Seth agreed and rode in silence to Jacobs home.
