Jacob and Kansas...

Chapter 2

"Jacob!" a girl said as she ran to him and gave him a huge hug.

"Nessie," he said hugging her back. She had a beautiful smile. "What are you doing here so early?" Jacob said as he shut his trunk.

"We got in last night and I wanted to see you, but mom and dad told me I had to wait and give you a little space for I'll see ya more now," Nessie said as she picked up a bag and helped carry it in for him.

"Gotcha. Well damn, I was going to have a welcome home party for you guys," Jacob said. He glanced at Sam.

"Well, we could still have one for my mom and dad since they are you're friends," she said still smiling.

"True," he said. "Tell you what Nessie, lets get it all set up anyway and still have a welcome home party for everyone."

"Yay. I'm so happy to be around you again. I feel like I can smile my true smile since you truely know me," she said as she started to empty out the bag of goods that they all brought in.

JACOB: Sam--- I need you to go pick up Kansas, she just texted me and doesn't have a ride home. Please.

SAM: I'm on it.

"Hey, I need to make a run for some stuff, Jacob, could I use your car?" Sam said. Jacob threw him the keys. Nessie hugged Jacob again. He smugged a smile at Sam. Sam just smirked. Then left.

"Dude, Sam, we need more beer!" Seth yelled out after Sam.

"Check the fridge," Jacob said to him. Seth did and was like a kid in a candy store.

"Never mind, we good!!!" he yelled out the door to Sam. Sam was already pulling the car away.

"So what's new?" Nessie said as she sat up on the counter top in front of Jacob.

"Not much, just living the best I can," he said as he opened a soda and glanced at her as he took a sip.

"So anyone sniffing around here?" she said as she smiled. Seth and Jacob glanced at her then eachother.

"Just kidding! Get it, sniffing, because dogs sniff, haha," she said as she jumped down off the counter. "So, we'll, its not like we have much to get ready here."

"Yeah, pretty much done. I was wanting to have a party but I guess I'm not good at the party planning area," he said.

"Jacob, you're phone is singing," Nessie said looking at him all weird.

"It's a friends ringtone," he said as he ignored the call.

"Oh, okay. You could of answered it," she said as she answered her phone. "I'm here now mom. Yeah he looks good. Yeah. Well, he wants us to all come over around 7 tonight. Yeah," she said as she went on.

JACOB: Sorry, Sam is on his way to get you in my car. I am going to have to cancel tonight, they showed up way early. Rain check??

KANSAS: He pulled up and told me. No biggie. Yeah Rain check! Bring an umbrella though!

JACOB: That's funny! Will do. I'll tty2n!

KANSAS: KK! Enjoy!

"Jacob, did you hear me?" Nessie said to him.

"What? No. Sorry, I didn't," he said as he put his phone into his pocket.

"Do you want them to come over now?" Nessie said still on the phone with Bella, her mom.

"Sure," he said with a smile. With in a the half hour, Sam was back with Emily, his wife, Belle and Edward along with the other Cullins, Jasper, Emmet, Alice, Rosealeigh, Carlise, and Esme. Seth of course was still there and along with a couple of other guys.

"Jacob, where's Billy at?" Bella asked him as she took a glance around the home.

"He is actually living with a girlfriend, Suzanna, across town," he told her.

"Really? Billy got a girlfriend. Huh," she said in amazment.

"Yeah, she's a sweetheart," he said as he took a sip of his drink. Edward and Jasper glanced at him from the distance of the deck.

KANSAS: Hey JakeUP!

JACOB: Yes Cans Ass ;oP

KANSAS: Ha that's a new one! Hows your party?

JACOB: It's going. Hows things at your end?

KANSAS: Kinda boring, but eh, I'll live!

JACOB: Ha. Yes you will!!!. g2g.

"Jacob, who are you texting out here?" Nessie said as she sat with him in the sand down by the ocean.

"Just a friend," he said to her with a smile. She wrapped her arm around his and leaned into him. He layed his head on top of hers and looked out over the ocean.
