JACOB: U awake?

KANSAS: Yes, whats up?

JACOB: Can I stop over?

KANSAS: Always.

"Jacob?" Nessie said sleepy.

"I'll be back Nessie, I have to go pick up a friend," he said to her. She was in his bed, he was sitting on his loune chair.

"Okay, be careful," she said as she went back to sleep.

"Leah, let me know if Nessie leaves," Jacob said to her as he stepped outside. Leah nodded in aggrement.

With in a few moments Kansas heard a knock at her door.

"Hey," she said as she opened the door and seen Jacob.

"Hey," he said with a smile. "Were you sleeping?"

"Not really. Was just watching tv," she said as she shut the door. "How was your night?"

"Long," he said as he flopped down on the couch. She sat down in the chair across the way from him.

"Yeah. Did you have fun?" she asked as she turned the tv down.

"It was alot of talking and then drinking. Most fun I had was texting you," he said. "Oh yeah, I brought you a little something." he said as he handed it to her.

"Shut up! You are such a smart ass!" she said as she un wrapped it, it was a unbreilla.

"Do you mind if I crash here tonight?" he asked her.

"No that's fine. Like I said I'm alone all weekend," she said as she stood up to go get extra blankets out of the closet. Jacob followed her.

"Could I just lay in your bed with you? Talk?" he asked as he held her hand at the door of the closet.

"Sure," she said a little nervously. She went and turned the tv off and lights and went to her room. Jacob followed her into her room.

"Whats wrong Jacob?" she asked him as she could see his face from the moon light shining through.

"I have alot on my mind, and right now, you are the only thing I could think of that makes me feel settle," he said to her as he moved a piece of her hair out of her face.

"Aw. Well I'm glad you stopped by. It would of sucked if I'd not get to see you all weekend," she said with a smile. "I hope just because they are your oldest friends that I dont get pushed out of your life."

"Kansas, do you really feel like I would do that?" he asked her.

"Well, kinda. I don't know. I'm just not sure I want to lose my friend just yet," she said looking away from him a little then back.

"Come here," he said as he held an arm up for her to come cuddle with him. "Yes we are just friends, but you are my best friend these days and I will always be around. No matter what happens between you and me or anyone else," he said as he held her close. He smelled her hair and closed his eyes for a moment.

"Okay. I mean I understand you have other obligations and friends, but I just don't want to be forgotten," she said as she settled into his arms. She smiled.

"You won't be forgetten ever," he said to her as he and her started to fall asleep.
