*Elsa's POV*

I go to the middle of the ice rink and wait for my music to start. I pose with one hand on my heart, the other in the air. (A/N. Play the video to listen as you read along if you like)

The music starts, I slowly put my hand down. Once it's by my face, I start skating backwards.

I turn, and gently twirl my hands up. I jump & turn in the air. People clap, at the sound of the bass. I start spinning, as I go lower I put my hands out, and one leg. When I come back up so do my hands, then I bend back a little my hands up in the air.

I start skating forward and lift my leg up creating a scorpion look, for just a few seconds. I turn when I reach the end of the rink, and then I slow down going backwards. I speed back up, extending my hands out. Like hey look at this, then I jump in the air for a full five seconds.

People cheer, and I smile. I skate fast, then I abruptly slow down as the music does. I make my body parallel to the ground as I skate around half the rink. Not moving a muscle. As I put it back down, I do one last jump, and land sticking one leg out. With my hands extended, people cheer again.

Smiling I skate to the rest of the music, doing moves that go with the beat. Just before the song is over, I slow down and stop in the middle. Looking down with both hands on my chest.

The lights go back on, I look back up as I smile and wave at everyone. I skate off the rink, I wave at the girl going after me. "Good luck." I say to her. My coach meets me when I get off the ice.

"Great job Elsa! The next event is a state competition. You ready?"

"Ready." I say smiling, he stops me before I can go and change. "There's only one category left. I couldn't get you in time for solos, it filled up too fast." I look at him confused, (my coaches name is coach charming. Weird right?)

"The last one left is for partners. And I need you to partner you with someone. Please find an equally good skater as you. " I shrug my shoulders, I own a business it shouldn't be too hard. "Alright."

"Elsa, you have about a week so we can get started." I act completely un-effected. When on the inside I'm completely freaking out. "Ok. I'll definitely find someone for the job. I own a business for crying out loud. How hard can it be?" He laughs, and pats my shoulder.

"That's my girl. Now go on, I'll see you next week with hopefully a partner in tow."

"You got it coach." I say without turning around. I finally reach the dressing room, and start getting changed.

Once I'm done and I'm collecting my things, Anna walks in. "Elsa you were great!" She gives me a hug. I hug her tighter. "Thank you Anna. Now all that's left for me to do is find a partner for the state competition."

"Why not just do a solo?" She asks, I sigh and pick up my skates and grab my outfit. "Because, my couch couldn't get me signed up in time for a solo. So now I have to find a partner, who is a least just as good as me. In a week, so me and him can start learning our routine."

"Wow Elsa. Do you know anyone who skates? That's a guy?" She asks, I blush and look down. "Well I remember Jack saying that he skates." She looks shocked for a second, "He does." I laugh, her face is priceless. "He's here you know. I saw him take a couple pictures then he stopped when he saw your face." Anna said, I smile.

"Elsa." It's Jack, I stop walking, I'm so nervous. How do I ask him? "I'll leave you here to talk with him. I got to go check on Rapunzel and how's she is handling the store." Anna gives me a hug before going off to Kristoff. Jack walks up to me, looking nervous. He's rubbing the back of his neck, "Hey frost." I say laughing.

He's laughs too. "Hey Elsa. So you are, I guess cinderella."

"You guess?"

"Alright you are. Still Elsa, why didn't you just tell me who you were?" He asks, I rub my hands together, a little nervous. "Well at first. I tried playing it off as me trying to mess with you."

"Hey that's my thing. I mess with people. I'm sorry go on." I smile, "Then I realized, that I was scared. That you would blow me off, knowing that I work all the time."

He smiles at me a little. "Elsa, please I'm not like that." I shrug my shoulders, "I barely know you Jack. What was I supposed to do?" I play the question off with a smile. He tries saying something, but I talk before he can.

"So there's this ice skating state competition, and I need a partner. I remember you saying something about skating?"

"Yeah I skate."

"Good. Meet me here tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. I need to see where your skills are at." I start going to my car, before I leave the stadium. Jack grabs my hand, it's nice and cool. Like last time. "Elsa, when we are not working you don't have to talk to me with a professional tone." I smile at him. "Sorry it's a habit."

He smiles at me, the comes to my side and puts my jacket on. "You don't want to get cold." He said. "The cold never bothered me anyway."

"Same here. Now let me walk you to your car." Jack says grabbing a hold of my hand. I look down at our hands, it feels good having them there. Get a hold of yourself Elsa! We reach my car. I try to get my keys out of my purse, I can't seem to get to them with all my stuff. "Here." Jack grabs my dress, and skates.

"Thank you." I say, I find my keys and un-lock the door. I get my dress and shoes and put them in the back seat. "Thank you Jack. Where are you parked?" I ask, he points to the car next to mine. "Right here."

"Really?" He smirks, "Yeah. Ironic isn't it?"

"Yeah. Ironic. Well I'll see you tomorrow." I shake his hand, "See you tomorrow." We both get into our cars, I wave at him as I drive off. He waves back.

*Jacks POV*

I get home and blow air out. Elsa wants me to be her partner in an ice skating competition. A state competition too! I just do it for fun, not to get in front of judges and have them tell me how good I am.

I go to my fridge and grab a coke, I sit down at the table. As I think this over, I get out my phone and text Anna.

Me: Hey Anna. Can I have Elsa's cell?

Anna: Why?

Me: I need to talk to her about some business stuff.

Anna: Ok, hold on.

A moment later, she sends me Elsa's number. I immediately dial it. After just a couple rings, she picks up.

"Hello, this is Elsa Arens."

"Hey Elsa it's Jack."

"Oh hey Frost. What do you need?" She asks, I smile. "I was calling about that competition. I d-"

"Don't worry Jack. That's why we're meeting tomorrow. To see how good you are."

"But Elsa. I've never done an actual competition like this before."

"Don't worry, you'll be fine Frost. Now I gotta go. See you tomorrow?"

I sigh in defeat, "Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow..snow queen."

"Bye frost."

"Bye." I hang up the phone, I guess she knew that I was going to say that I didn't want to do it. I throw away my drink and go to bed. I have a lot to do tomorrow.
