*Jacks POV*

She's dead.

I'm happy that I don't have to deal with her anymore.

Elsa doesn't have to either, our ordeal is finally over.

Her surgery went really good, but I don't leave her room for days. The doctor said that she won't wake up for a week.

So, I've stayed by her bedside. Anna has tried convincing me to go get something to eat. "No, what if she wakes up and I'm not here? Just...bring me something."

Anna sighs and leaves with her grandparents and Kristoff. I've only taken a shower in the middle of the night.

When I'm sure she won't wake up. I don't know when, but I fall asleep at some point.

I hardly sleep at all. Wanting to be awake when she's awake. I wake up to sun rays coming through the window.

I rub my eyes and sit up. Elsa still hasn't woken up, but she looks so peaceful asleep. Like everything that happened a few days ago never even occurred.

She is everything to me. "I'm sorry I let you down Elsa. You wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for me...I'm so sorry." I take her hand and kiss it.

I lean my head on the bed. Still tired from what little sleep I've been getting, for the past few days.

"I still keep playing that scene over and over in my head. Trying to find a way where I could've prevented you getting hurt. And I can't...now your grandpa hates me. Or at least I think he does..He blames me for not being able to protect you. And, he's right. I promised you that you wouldn't get hurt, and I failed. I love you, and I failed to protect you." I whisper the last sentence.

I feel a hand go through my hair. "Not once..have I ever blamed you."

I look up, Elsa is smiling at me. I waste no time and kiss her. She puts her arms around me when I pull away.

"You were dead. You died right in front of me, but you came back."

"I had to. My parents said that you were begging me to come back."

"You saw them?"

"Yes. They said that you needed me, but didn't say why." She smiles and so do I.

"Oh Elsa, I love you so much." I kiss her cheek a few times. "I love you, I love you, I love you."

"I love you too."

"Do you want me to get you some blankets? It is pretty cold in here." Elsa smiles.

"Yeah sure." I smile and kiss her head. "I'll be back soon. I'll also get Anna and tell her your awake."

She smiles at me, I leave the room.

*Annas POV*

"I don't know why we let him stay in there."

"Grandfather, he's been in there with her day and night. Jack refuses to leave to eat. He hardly even sleeps." I tell him. We've been arguing for over half an hour.

We're all sitting in the cafeteria. I plan on giving Jack a yogurt with fruit on top today. Jack says he doesn't need food, but I don't believe him."He doesn't deserve her. And he never will."

"Grandfather-"

"Guys!" I turn to see Jack. He's practically glowing. "She's awake. Elsa is awake. I'm going to go get her some blankets and a pillow." He smiles again. "I'm so happy she's awake."

Jack skips before jogging out. I turn back to grandfather. "See, he cares about her."

"This doesn't change anything Anna." Grandfather gets up and throws away his food.
