(A/N) The ten year anniversary for HSM was last week so I decided to use it for this chapter. Enjoy! :)
*Jacks POV*
I let her go. She needs it. Anna gets up as soon as Elsa closes the door. I put my hand out. Stopping her.
"Jack-"
"Let her go. I'll go get her in a minute. But for now, let her be by herself."
Just then, Elsas phone rings. I see that it's her grandmother and answer it. "Hello Elsa??"
"Elsa went outside. This is Jack."
"Oh Jackson, I have to tell Elsa what happened."
"Just tell me, she went outside for some fresh air."
"Her grandfather, as you may know, never told her what he thought....he's not coming to the wedding."
"Why?"
"He got so angry that you never asked for his blessing and refused to attend. He even said it was too late to ask for it."
"B-but..doesn't he know that I love her?"
"Of course he does."
"Then why doesn't he understand? I mean it's not like I can chart the very next plane to Norway. He should have known from the moment that I said that I loved her that I meant it!"
"Jackson. Calm down, George is an old fashioned man. Hang in there my dear boy. I'll get him to see reason. When I do, I'll let you guys know as soon as possible."
I sigh. "Thank you."
"Anything for my future grandson in law. As far as I'm concerned you're already family. I'll talk to again soon, cheer up my Elsa for me would you?"
"Of course. Have a nice day."
"As well as you Jackson." I hang up the phone.
"Why doesn't grandfather approve?" Anna asks. "I didn't ask for his blessing, and it's too late to ask for it now."
"Elsa got her stubbornness from him alright...we're not going to tell Elsa about this."
My brows come together, confused. "What are you talking about? We have to. I'm about to marry your sister, and I can't start lying to her."
Anna gets up. "Jack, listen to me. If Elsa isn't hurting right now, then she'll be completely devastated if she finds out."
"No you listen here. I'm going to tell her, and you can't stop me." I turn around to leave.
"Jack wait." I pause with my hand on the doorknob. "She has already had her heart broken so many times. Please don't add another thing to the list."
"She deserves to know Anna. I'm sorry." I open the door, and head out the front door. She's not out front. I look on the one side of the building.
Not here. I look behind some boxes and find her sitting there. Tears streaming down her face. She's biting her thumb with one hand, the other wrapped around her waist.
I squat in front of her, and put my hands on both cheeks. Wiping away her tears. She looks up at me. Her eyes red, still filled with water.
Almost immediately, she gets up and embraces me. I get on my knees to hold her better.
"I have something to tell you snowflake...it's not pretty."
"Just tell me." She whispers. "I can take it."
"Your grandpa was furious when you told him. He refuses to go to the wedding because I didn't ask for his blessing. And that it's too late to ask for it now...I'm sorry Elsa." When Elsa doesn't say anything.
