Chapter 7

LILLY'S POV

We made our way to the front door and a man greeted us.

"Lilly?" He said studying me face.

"Yes!" I said smiling at him.

"It's good to meet you. Do you need any help with your bags?"

"Okay! Thank you very much." I said.

"No problem sweetie. How about we put your bags in your room then we can give you a tour of this house."

"Sure! I'd love that." I said smiling.

With the help of aunt Maura and uncle Bobby, we made our way up to their guest room.

"Well, here it is." Maura said as they put the suitcases on my bed.

I looked around the room and saw that it was painted light purple and had cream colored accessories. There was a big flat screen on top of a table and next to it was a dresser and walk in closet. The bed had a yellow bedspread on it.

"I love this room!" I said.

"Good! Now how about that tour?" Aunt Maura said.

"Okay!" I said as uncle Bobby turned to leave.

"Well, I have to go to work, I'll see you later Lilly!" He waved to me with a smile on his face.

Aunt Maura and I made our way out of the room and started the tour at the front door.

"So I know this house might look big, but after a while it'll be easy. We have three bedrooms, five guest rooms and each bedroom has a bathroom attached. To your left, there is the living room."

We walked through it and made our way to the dining room and to the kitchen.

"Here's the kitchen, if you want food help yourself, but be quick we have a house full of boys."

I chuckled. "Do I have a lot of cousins?" I questioned her.

"You have two plus one who has four friends that will be staying for a couple of days. You will umm.. meet ... them later." She said awkwardly.

"Okay... Is there a problem with them?"

"No, but there's something big that we will tell you later. Now that's the end of the tour."

"Ok--"

"Wait! We still have the basement."

She showed my a door that was in the kitchen and she lead me down the stairs.

What I saw when I went downstairs shocked me.

One Direction was sitting on a sofa watching a movie.

"Aunt Maura, why is One Direction in your house?" I said still trying to process what was happening.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you this earlier, but of course you know who they are.

Niall is your cousin sweetie."

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"I know your shocked hun." She tried to reach out to me but I pulled up.

"So my cousin's Niall freaking Horan, what else are you people keeping from me?" I ran up the stairs fully aware that everyone was looking at me because of my outburst.

I ran into my room and locked my door. I quickly went through my bag and pulled out my iPhone to call my dad.

He picked up at the first ring and I got to the point right away not even letting him say hi to me.

"Did you know?" I asked him.

"What are you talking about? What do I know."

"That Niall Horan from my favorite boy band is my cousin."

"Ye-"

I interrupted him and said, "Why didn't you tell me?" I was on the verge of tears.

"You've had enough pain in the last few days I didn't want to overwhelm you." He said apologetically.

"I think it's best if we don't talk for a little while."

"Wai-"

I didn't let him finish again because I hung up the phone. I threw it on my bed and sat there looking at the ceiling. I wiped my eyes, and tried to stop myself from crying. My dad is right on one thing though, it's been a crazy last couple of days for us.

How could I have been so stupid? I know the names of Niall's parents and I know he has an older brother named Greg. Plus I also know where all of them live.

I can't believe I didn't realize it sooner, also because they were on the plane to Mullingar too.

As I was thinking, I fell asleep with all of my worries floating in my head.
