Our Date (Chapter 11)

Chapter 11

LOUIS' POV

I nervously drove down the street, stealing a glance at her every minute or so.

After looking at her for what felt like the millionth time, I saw that she was asleep. I smiled at her and moved my gaze towards the road. I have this suspicion that she likes one of the other boys too, so I can't mess up on this date or it will ruin everything between us and just get awkward. I really hope everything goes as planned because I want to spend more time with her.

I hope she can't tell how nervous I am because I want to show her my fun side, and I want to win her over. I dot want her to think I'm acting fake or anything. God, I sound like such a girl right now.

After this date, I can also only hope that she forgets about the other boys she might like.

I don't really know my way around Ireland, but thank god Niall does because he recommended a park maybe twenty minutes away from his parents' house. I'm also grateful that Niall's on my side right now and is okay with her being my girlfriend. Believe it or not Niall can be protective sometimes. Lilly seems like a great girl, so I'm happy I have the Janice to get to know her.

Niall and Harry helped me set up a table and a bunch of paper lanterns with candles in them in the lake around the park. There was a little boat that we rested some of the lanterns in. Since Harry is such a great cook, he helped me pack a picnic basket filled with food. If all goes well later I'll ask her to be my girlfriend.

Finally we when we reached the park, I had to wake Lilly up. I just hope she isn't a heavy sleeper like Zayn, who gets pissed when someone tries wakes him up. Then, hesitantly, I poked her shoulder and whispered, "Lilly wake up we're here!"

Suddenly, she opened her eyes and smiled up at me. Luckily, she wasn't a heavy sleeper. Her green eyes looked into my blue ones and we held eye contact. She snapped me out of it and said, "Hey Lou are you ready?"

I smiled at how she used my nickname, so I said, "Yes! And hey you used my nickname."

I gave her a wink and right on cue her she blushed.

She looks so cute when she blushes.

Then all of a sudden, she started to blush even more. Now it was my turn for my face to turn red.

"I said that o-out loud?" I laughed awkwardly as she giggled.

"Ready my lady?" I said cheekily as I was trying to change the subject.

"Let's go." She said as she smiled up at me.

I ran up to her door and opened it for her. She smiled again and before she could get out, I put a blindfold on her.

"Hey! What was that for?" She crossed her arms and started to pout, but then laughed.

"You aren't supposed to see where we're going, it's a surprise." I laughed at her and grabbed her hand and put her in front of me so I could guide her by her shoulders.

"Where are we going?" She asked, shifting her shoulders to try to face me. Before she could do that, I turned her back around so I could guide her to the park.

"Again it's a surprise I can't tell- oh we're here stay where you are." I ran to the table I set up and pulled out the chair.

I went to where we stood and took off her blindfold.

I smiled brightly at her as she took in the surroundings. She looked back at me and looked surprised.

"Y-you did this all for me?"

"Of course! Well, with they boys' help."

"Thank you." She hugged me and I couldn't stop smiling.

"You're welcome. Now lets eat!" We both ran up to the table that I set up near the water and opened the picnic basket.

Harry made two chicken salad sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries. Plus, I brought waters, chips and grapes.

Before I could say anything she grabbed one of everything and put it in front of her.

"I take it that you're hungry?" I said jokingly.

"Starved." She said back winking at me.

For the next few hours, there was never an awkward moment.

We were eating our cookies and laughing after I told a joke and I blurted out, "W-will you be my girlfriend?" I noticed that after I said this she was blushing.

She looked up at me and said, "Ye-"

She never got to finish because Liam ran up to us with Niall right behind him.

"Lilly can I talk to you quickly?"

Hesitantly she said, "O-ok." When she followed Liam near a tree I turned to Niall.

"WHAT IS HE DOING?" I whisper-yelled.

"He wants to tell her he likes her."

"B-but I wanted to ask her to be my girlfriend!" I yelled.

"Thats why I tried to stop him. I'm sorry, if you guys had a good time she'll say yes to you and not him."

"Okay Nialler, I hope you're right." I sighed and glanced at them.

I was shocked when I saw that they were kissing and that Lilly was pushing him off. She stomped over to me and grabbed my arm.

"I-i'm sorry Liam, I like Louis not you." She looked as if she was on the verge of tears as she said this.

I glared at Liam and he had his hands on his face.

He looked at her and said, " No I'm sorry I don't know why I did that." He went up to her and hugged her.

I saw that he whispered in her ear and she gave him a small smile, which he returned.

He looked at me and mouthed "I'm sorry" and turned to Niall and nodded to him. They went back to their car and left the park, which left Lilly and I alone again.

In a way I wasn't that mad at Liam because I know that him and Danielle broke up a couple of weeks ago, and he's been sad lately and trying to forget about her. I'll just talk to him later.

As I was zoned out, Lilly can up to me and hugged me again.

With our faces just centimeters apart, she said, "I never got to answer your question."

"Oh yeah? Now what's your anwser?" I questioned.

"Yes!" She said and she closed the gap between us and kissed me. It was easy for me to say that it was one of the best kisses I've ever had. It was passionate, but not too forceful. She granted entrance, and the kiss got more intense.

A few seconds later, we both pulled back both breathing heavily. We looked up at each other and smiled.

I knew that then this was a start to a great relationship.

Ooh things got pretty heated there! It was pretty awkward to write about this kiss so sorry if it made like no sense.

I updated early because ily guys so much and because I'm so close to 300 reads!

Well anyways, like always the next chapter will be up Tuesday!
