P.S. Also, any medical information that I put in here is off of the top of my head or I researched it a bit. This is not 100% accurate... like, at all. The Temporary Paralysis is indeed researched a bit so that part of it was okay. Other than that, do NOT take my word on ANY of this stuff. I have no medical background what-so-ever.

"Tell me about Lucy."

[Natsu POV]"Natsu-" Louise began, but I cut her off.
"-Now. Tell me now...please.."
She sighed and nodded, "Alright, alright..."
Louise pushed a rather comfortable chair to the side of Lucy's bed and she gestured, signaling me to sit down. Next she rolled up a swivel chair and she sat at the foot of the bed in the chair. "First thing I'm going to tell you is that my work partner, Phillip, has put some sleeping meds into her system... If she were to wake up now, we'd just be making her suffer."
I looked at Lucy's face as Louise talked and my heart hurt to know she was in so much pain, even when Lucy herself was unconscious of it. Have you ever had that feeling where you're just so saddened or upset that you can't even cry? You just sit there? Well, this was currently how I was feeling.
"Are you okay? Do you want me to continue?" I felt her eyes on me and I nodded. "A-Alright... Miss Heartfilia's condition was troubled ever since you two flew out the car window. Basically she took the hit instead of you, it would be the other way around if you went out first." She paused for a moment and I looked at her in a bit of concern.
"Why'd you stop? What aren't you telling me?" I raised my voice a little and she sighed.
"Lucy's...." She paused and took a deep breath before speaking hesitantly, "Lucy's temporarily paralyzed from the waist down."
I gasped and my body froze. I could feel the pressure of my tears building up and I couldn't hold them back. Sooner than I knew, tears began streaming down my face. I cupped my hand over my eyes and looked away from Louise and I looked down at my lap. My body began to shake I was crying so hard. Louise rolled her chair over and she placed a hand on my back gently, trying to comfort me. I knew her body and legs were twisted badly at the crash... but I never expected this.
I stuttered, sobbing through my words. "This should've been me..."
"N-Natsu you don't mean that..." Louise was surprised by my words, her tone was soft though.
"Yes," I exclaimed, still having tears flow from my eyes, "yes I do, Louise, this should've been me!"
"It's going to be alright...She'll heal...It's not permanent."
