[Lucy]

A warm smile appeared on my when Gray came into veiw as Natsu slowly pushed the door open to his hospital room.

Gray's gaze met mine and his eyes widened a bit.

"Hey Gray," I casually greeted him as I wheeled myself forward by pushing forwards on the black  wheels to his side as he lay on the hospital bed, "Its good to see you."

"Y-Yeah, you too...How are you doing Lucy?"

"I'm doing good." I gave him my best fake smile.

Lies. Friggin lies. I am in fact not okay. No way in hell. I just found out I'm paralyzed from the waist down. How do people expect me to be okay?! But I just can't let them worry any more than they already have... especially Natsu.

Gray gave me a relieved smile. He bought it. Good. "That's good to hear."

I nodded, "Have you seen Erza yet?"

Gray jerked his head back at my question and gave an unsure and curoious look at Natsu as he spoke, "I thought she was released later on the same day as Natsu?"

I looked over my shoulder at Natsu with a raised brow. He wasn't even paying attention, his gaze was lost into nothingness out the hospital window. I said his name and it got his attention.

"What?"

"Is Erza out of the hospital already?" I asked.

He blinked and then rubbed the back of his head, "Oh, yeah. She is. I totally forgot about that, Im sorry Lucy. We can go visit her after you're given the okay to go. Jellal, her... well I don't really know what he is to her, but he came, picked her up and is caring for her."

I nodded and looked down at my lap, "Okay."

A soft knock on the door sounded and soon Louise poked her head in through the now ajar door. She smiled softly.

"Natsu," Her gaze glued to him, "can I talk to you for a moment?"

Gray and I looked at Natsu to see him already out the door. I blinked, silence filling the air.

"How are you doing Gray?" I questioned.

He shrugged lightly, "I'm doing fine."

"No," I protested, "how are you doing with all of this? You can't possib--"

"-- Lucy." Natsu interrupted me as he opened the door  and I looked at him.

"Yeah?"

"Louise needs to talk to you out here... It's important."

I looked back at Gray who was giving me unknown emotions through his gaze and then he looked away, like he wanted to answer my question but couldn't.

I tilted my head at him, "Do you mind if I go?"

He shook his head, "Not at all... I'll see you around Lucy."

I nodded before wheeling myself backwards, pivoting, and then rolling forward as Natsu opened the door widely and stepped aside, allowing me to go through the doorway. I saw Louise leaning against the wall and I rolled up to her. She smiled softly down at me.

"We have to discuss some things, Miss Heartfilia."

"What about?" I raised a brow. What's so important that we have to discuss?

"Your father, Jude Heartfilia, was notified of your accident...He's on his way."

My heart dropped to my stomach and I looked at Natsu who's fists were clenched tightly.

"Y-You can't be serious!?"
