Niall's POV

I tended to walk home, but them the front door of Amy's house opened. Her mom came outside. Fuck, she couldn't see me!

I quickly hid behind a bush and hoped she didn't see me. But, unfortunately, she did see me. "Hello" she cleared her throat. "Oh, hello" I said as I stood up. "May I ask you what you're doing?" she said strictly. "No" I said taking the question serious. "Don't play games young man, I know what's going on between you and my daughter. I want you to stay away from her. And by the way, it wasn't meant as a question, so just answer" she stated.

Wow, I wonder how Amy can survive living with that women. Man! She a bitch!

"I dropped my cigarette" I quickly lied. I swiftly took one from my pocket an made it look like I really picked it up. I had to admit, I was a good liar. I could just make up lies without even stuttering, and everyone believed it.

Except this women, it was like she could look right through me. Too bad..

"Okat, and now tell me what you were really doing here" she took a step closer. My face was almost emotionless, but from inside I was laughing so hard. She tried to intimidate me, but Amy's mom was way shorter than me, especially when she came closer.

I tried to make up a lie again, but I wanted to keep Amy outta trouble wit her mom.

The only thing I could think of was something I never told anybody: the truth.

I deeply inhaled as I looked Amy's mom right into her eyes as she was still waiting for me to answer.

"I climbed up to the balcony to see Amy" I said. It actually felt good to speak the truth.

"Pretending like Romeo and Juliet huh?" Amy's mom spoke after a moment of silence.

"Yeah, bit like that" I crossed my arms as I looked at her. "Well watch out boy, if you don't leave my daughter alone, I'll make sure you'll end just like Romeo" Amy's mom threaded.

"In the arms of his beloved Juliet, who killed herself after?" I held my head slant. In your face bitch.

"Got nothin' to say now, don't ya?" I said.

I kept staring at her till she looked away, a sign of weakness, she gave up. I turned my back to her and slowly walked away.

Amy's POV

I heard the whole conversation between Niall and my mom. I was kinda proud of him, nobody ever won a discussion with my mom like that.

I was waiting for my mom to come upstairs, all heated and freaking out. I couldn't wait to see her face after what happened.

"Amy!" I heard my mother shout as she stomped up the stairs. "I'm here" I said innocently. "I told you not to see that guy anymore" mom said through gritted teeth.

I first wanted her to be mad, like some kind of revenge, but then I thought, there was no way to talk me outta this shit.

"Mom, just relax!" I said annoyed. "Enough Amy, I'm taking your phone, you'll get I back when I think everything's fine" mom had never been so strict with me.

What's wrong with her?!

"Then how do I get to school tomorrow if I can't call anyone to bring me?" I almost screamed, mostly of anger. "My car works again, so I'll take you, point out" she snatched my phone from my desk and walked to my door.
