A/N: so the last chapter was kind of a filler, I just couldn't let you guys wait any longer :)
But this chapter is very long (YAY)
So here's chapter 20, enjoy!
TUESDAY
Amy's POV
I slammed my locker closed and walked towards Jess and Claire, who were talking.
Mom had brought me to school this morning. We didn't speak a word and I hadn't seen Bob since I had fallen out with him.
"What's up with the sad face?" Claire asked when I she saw me. "Fight with my parents, again" I sighed.
"Aaaww" Jess and Claire said in unison as they gave me a tight hug.
"Well, let's turn that frown upside down." Jess said looking excited.
"We have a plan to get you to that party" she said.
Claire and Jess explained what their plan was about.
"I have the feeling this thing could work out pretty well" I said convinced.
The rest of the day flew by. I said goodbye to Jess and Claire before I went to the parking lot, where mom was waiting for me in her car.
"Hey mom" I greeted her. "Hello Amy" she greeted back. I stepped into the car and smiled at my mom.
Time to work out this plan.
"Uh, mom, I have to do a homework assignment with Jess and Claire" I said breaking the silence.
"Yes, and?" she said, focussing on the road.
"Well, we have to do it at Claire's, so is it okay if we go to her on Friday?" I asked putting my cutest face on.
"Amy, you know you're still grounded, right?" she said now looking at me.
"Oh, but that's the only day we all can come. Plus, they're counting on me right now" I said.
I knew my mom was way too nice to let other people down. I felt bad for using her kindness, but it was the only way to go to that party. I don't wanna be that loner girl who doesn't go to parties the whole school goes to.
"Please?" I begged.
Mom let out a deep sigh. "It depends on you behaviour of the next few days. I'll think about it, okay?" she sighed.
I immediately nodded. This was perfect, if I'm just being nice to her, and do less that has to do with Niall, mom will let me go, hopefully.
I smiled the rest of the way home, I just couldn't help it.
Friday
I had been really nice and helpful to my mother the past few days. This afternoon she's gonna tell me if I can go or not, probably she'll let me go.
I decided not to tell Niall, I wanted to keep it like a bit of a surprise.
The last lesson we had today was History, the most boring subject ever. Luckily I sat next to Cindy, a really energetic girl from class. She had a really good sense of humor, this way Cindy could bright up eveything. I have to hang out with her more often.
"So, you and Niall, what's going on between the two of you?" Cindy asked when the teacher, ms.Page, started reading out something boring.
I immediately turned red. "We, uh, hang out sometimes" I stuttered.
"I think it's more than just 'hanging out' Am, have you seen that mark in you neck" she said. I looked at her with big eyes, feeling my neck.
"Just kidding" Cindy laughed and patted my shoulder.
