22. I'm Fine

Amy's POV

"Let me go" I said. I only received a chuckle from the person who pulled me along the street.

I still remembered everything from last night.

After Jess and I walked down stairs again, Dan seperated us. He pushed me up against the wall. I held in my breath, trying not to inhale the strong alcoholic smell that filled the air around me. He said somethng about revenge and then he puched me in my stomach. Dan took me to his car and threw me in the backseat.

"Give me your phone" Dan snapped me out of my thoughts. He held out his hand. "N-no" I shook my head.

"Fine, if you want it the hard way, you can get it the hard way." he said and came closer to me. I had no idea what to expect from 'the hard way' but I was afraid it was going to be painful.

I stood frozen, I didn't dare to move an inch. I squeezed my eyes close, waiting for something to happen. I heard some clicking sounds and when I opened my eyes I saw Dan pointing a gun at my forehead. I started to tremble and my breathing became heavier.

"Changed your mind?" he smirked. I shakily nodded and handed my phone to Dan.

Niall's POV

I had been driving around for more than an hour, but still no trace of Amy.

I calmed down a little when her name flashed on the screen of my phone. I answered her call.

"Amy! I was so worried, where are you?" I said. I heard a sob and my heart started to beat faster. Then I heard a loud bang and a high scream.

"What's going on Amy? Are you okay?" I asked getting more worried by every second that passed by.

"No she's not okay" a dark voice said. "Dan" I panted "Where is she" I stopped my car.

"Come to that abanoned gas station, the one just outside town." he chuckled. Perfect, a totally deserted place, exactly a place you want to go to save your girlfriend, not.

I started the engine of my car and drove off.

When I arrived at the abandoned gas station, I saw Dan walking around a corner of the building.

I quickly parked my car somewhere out of sight and put my gun in the pocket of my leather jacket. I ran towards Dan.

"Where is she?" I asked breathing heavy. "Well hello to you too" Dan chuckled. I sighed and crossed my arms, waiting for him to move.

When we turned around the corner I saw Amy tied to a large tree that was hid behind the big building.

I sighed of relief that she was okay, well, at least alive, but I didn't know for how long.

"So what do you want" I spat turning my head to face Dan, who had an evil look on his face.

"It's simple" he walked towards Amy "I just want revenge" Dan chuckled.

"A long as you leave her alone" I said.

"Yeah, you're right, let's first take a bullet through her head, so she doesn't have to suffer anymore. After that I'll deal with you, as long as it's slow and painful" Dan had a sadisctic look in his eyes, which made me shiver.

"Please let me go" Amy sobbed when Dan took a few steps closer to her and took out his gun. He covered her mouth with his hand.

I had enough of the annoying game he was playing with me. He tried to make me mad so I would do something stupid. I started to walk towards him and Amy.
