30. Like Romeo and Juliet

I'm so sorry for the late update.. School is killing me at the moment :(

An hour earlier...

Ethan, a good friend of Dan, was riding along the street and towards the park as Dan told him to do so. Dan didn't tell him why though, he just told Ethan that he had to come to the park as soon as possible. Ethan didn't ask questions about it as he knew how dangerous Dan could be if he didn't get what he wanted. Ethan noticed that Dan had been acting quite suspicious lately, though he didn't think or worry about it.

Ethan turned around a corner and saw Dan leaning against a tree with his back towards the direction where Ethan came from. Ethan noticed a black range rover with tinted windows stopping close to where Dan was standing and slowed down his car. He bent down to grab his gun, which was strategically placed under the driver's seat. Ethan shot up as he heard the sound of a gun shot, which caused him to hit his head against the steering wheel. When he finally managed to stumble out of his car he only saw the Range Rover quickly leaving.

Ethan rushed towards Dan and started cussing when he saw that Dan was dead. "Damn it" Ethan cussed under his breath, he hadn't seen the person who killed Dan, but the person must be good at handling a gun, because he or she killed Dan with just a single shot.

Ethan decided to check Dan's pockets as he usually kept a lot of things in there. He found a small note which said 'Take my phone, do exactly what's written in the notes' Ethan immediately knew what Dan meant by this, Dan had been planning this out for a long time.

"Remember when you said you wouldn't mind living together?" Niall asked Amy as they sat down on the couch in Niall's apartment. She nodded and waited for him to continue. "I've been thinking about that.." Niall said while taking Amy's hands in his. "I know a guy, his name's Jamie, and he can get us a small apartment in London." Amy's eyes lit up as he spoke and she smiled bigger than she had ever done before. "Really?" she asked. Before Niall could continue Amy pulled him into a tight hug.

Niall pushed her back after a few seconds and looked into her eyes. "There's only one problem.." Niall said, causing Amy to look down at her feet.

"We have to make sure only he knows where we are, everyone else has to think that we're gone or something, anyways we have to make sure that they don't know where we are and don't look for us." Niall told her. "Why?" Amy asked.

Niall took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a few seconds. "I did something that I shouldn't have done" he sighed only making Amy more confused than she already was. "What do you mean?" she asked, frowning.

"I killed Dan.. It won't take his friends long to discover that I've done it and they'll try to get revenge. Everyone knows how much you mean to me and that I'd fall apart if you get hurt.." tears began forming in the corners of his eyes as Niall explained. "So they're probably gonna try to hurt you. I can't let that happen" Niall said, looking down at his feet and wiping away a tear from his cheek.

"Oh my God.." Amy whispered, her eyes were big as she was still processing the words Niall had just told her. "I'm so sorry" Niall said pushing a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. Niall put his hand on her cheek and looked into her eyes. "For everything" he said after a short moment of silence, and kissed her forehead.

"It's okay" Amy whispered. She gave Niall a comforting hug and smiled at him. "We'll find a way to get out of this shit" she chuckled. Niall smiled and laid down on the couch, pulling Amy with him so she was lying on his chest.

"We haven't gone out together for quite a while" Niall stated, changing the subject after he and Amy had been staring at each other for several minutes. Amy laughed as she knew what Niall actually meant by this. "Where do you wanna go then?" Amy asked, looking up at Niall as she laid on her back with her head on his chest. Niall smiled. "You know me too well" he said poking her side. "I was thinking about that club we went to the other time" Niall suggested. Amy immediately knew what club he was talking about and her heart started beating faster. Niall noticed she didn't feel sure. "I promise no one will get their hands on you" he said kissing Amy on her cheek. "Okay then" Amy said, knowing she could trust Niall that he would keep her safe. "Shall we leave in about half an hour?" Niall suggested. "Alright" Amy smiled. Niall returned her smile and whipsered 'I love you' in her ear before kissing her soft lips.
