Tonight was a date night (we had these every Friday) and I was going to surprise Lilly by taking her on a private dolphin cruise (she LOVES dolphins). So it was more like a date day...... I was heading to her house to pick her up. As I opened the door, I noticed that she looked a little pale. "Are you feeling alright?" I asked her, concerned. "Yeah!." She said. I could tell that she was fibbing a bit, but I let it go. She had been under a lot of stress anyway, so I figured it was fine. She looked otherwise beautiful, in her faded jeans, and her lavender sweater (she wasn't one to dress up. That's why I love her). We got into the car, and sped off .
