I think there may be a few errors in this so, heads up. Sorry.

"Oh Gabby!!" Lilly cried. She broke
down into a uncontrollable amount of sobbing. I wheeled her out.

"I'm sorry, this was a bad idea." I comforted her. "No Cal, it's fine." She said wiping her tears.

I rolled her back to the room. Diane came in and set her back up. "I've gotta go Lillbug. I love you." I said to her, kissing her hand. "Bye..." She whispered as I walked out.

3:00 AM

RINGGGG RINGGGGG my phone buzzed on the nightstand. I grabbed it, and saw it was Lilly.

"Hello?" I groggily asked.

"Cal!!" Lilly cried.

"What's wrong?!" I asked alarmed.

"My.... I....." She managed to get out before sobbing again.

"What?" I asked.

"Please..." She choked out.

"Lilly, I coming to the hospital. Hang in there." I said, hanging up.

I frantically ran around my room, digging clothes out from piles on my bed. In 2 minutes, I ran out the door and hopped into my car. It didn't take long to get there considering it was super early in the morning and there was no traffic.

I walked into the dark room to see a puffy faced Lilly. "Why is the light off?" I asked, kissing her. "Nobody knows I'm up, or that I called you." She said sniffling. "Oh.... What's wrong?" I asked, pulling her into my lap. Then I saw it. She didn't have to say anything to me to know what was wrong. Wavy chunks of light brown hair were stranded on her pillow. "Oh Lil..." I cried. She burst into tears, hugging me tighter. "Shhh.... It's okay..... " I comforted. But inside I knew it wasn't. I guess she knew it too, because she said "Cal! Don't lie! It's not.." She angrily wept. "I'm sorry.... I want to help but.. It's so hard." I said, a tear rolling down my cheek.

"Does anybody else know?" I asked, wiping both of our tears. "No. Only you. I'll tell my mom when she gets here." She replied. "Okay.. I'll be back soon. I'm going home to see if I can get more sleep..." I said, standing up. "Oh... Bye." She said. "What?" I asked. "Well. Um... Could you stay here tonight? Just for tonight I promise." She guiltily asked. "Yes! Of course. I'll stay whenever you want." I replied. I got in the bed with her, and she laid on my chest. "Sweet dreams." I whispered, kissing her cheek.

I awoke to light streaming onto my face. "Good morning." Lilly said. "How long have you been up?" I asked. "Since you fell asleep." She replied. "You could of at least turned on the TV." I said. "Looking at you is good enough." She replied sweetly. "Well, how about we go see a movie tonight?" I asked. "Do you think that my doctor will let me?" She asked. "Well have to see." I said, standing up. "For now? How about some food?" I asked. "Yes!" She exclaimed. I helped her into the wheelchair, and set her up. "Let's go!" I said, giving the chair a push. We went to the Starbucks that was downstairs, and she ordered a iced latte, with a pastry. I got the same, but I got banana nut bread instead.  We sat there in silence until Lilly talked. "How bad does my hair look." She asked. "It looks the same." I replied. "Nuh uh! It's thin!" She protested. "Lilly, it looks as beautiful as it normally does." I said. "But it's gonna be gone soon." She whimpered. "We can get you a wig." She frowned at me. "I know it's not the same, but at least it's something." I said. She remained silent as I threw away our trash, and took her back to the room.

"Hey!" A voice Said from behind me. It was Dr. Shields. "How are you feeling Lilly?" He asked. "Good.. I started losing my hair last night." She said. "I'm sorry. That's part of the chemo. But hopefully, you won't have to be on it too long. You are getting better, which is really good considering you haven't been here very long." He replied. "Well, in that case could I take Lilly out tonight?" I said. "Just for a movie! Pleaseeee?" Lilly begged. "I don't know. Cal, do you think you got it?" He asked. "I'm sure of it!" I replied, grinning.
