We got back to the penthouse, Theo, Tabitha and Barbra were sitting at the table. "Hey, You could've come along" I said to Barbra.
She shrugged, "ehh, I didn't really feel that well today, thanks anyway" She smiled weakly. I smiled back at her.
"It wasn't that fun, anyway" Krista said, walking towards them. I went into the kitchen and made Krista some tea, because I know its her favorite. I walked back into the dining room, and she wasn't there, Theo pointed towards the living room, not looking up from his newspaper, as usual.
I walked into the bedroom,"You still mad?" I said, handing her the mug, and sitting next to her.
She smiled,"A little" She took a sip "Mmm, no, not mad" She took another sip, "This is amazing. what did you do to it?" She asked.
I smiled slightly"I added sugar and a little bit of milk" I said, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Its not poisoned, is it?" She asked sarcastically.
"If I wanted to kill you, I would have done it already" I said seriously, then laid back.
"Yeah.." She said, and thought for a minute. "You know its only almost 6, we could watch tv?" She laid back, next to me,"Sounds good to me" I said, putting my arm around her, as she grabbed the remote and turned on the tv.
We watched the news for a minute, to see if we were on again, and of course we were. Then we changed the channel and watched that for a while, I don't remember what movie it was, but it was pretty good. After the movie ended, we ate and watched another movie.
"Its so boring here" Krista said and sat up
"Yeah it is" I agreed.
I sat up, and kissed her neck. She turned around and kissed me back, then Greenwood came in.
"Jerome, Theo says you and Barbra are going to the Galla and take over for the magicians.."
"Okay, whats the plan?"I i asked standing up
"Take out the mayor and Bruce Wayne, no one leaves or gets in" he said.
"Tonight, right?" I asked.
"Yes" he said then walked away.
I looked back at Krista, who was glaring at me.
"what?" I asked.
"Oh nothing"she said in a sarcastically but kinda irritated way.
"Ok, well I should probably shower for tonight" I said. "Care to join me?" I suggested then leaned down to kiss her but she backed away.
"No thanks" she said quickly.
I stood up straight. "Alright." I turned around and walked to the bathroom.
I looked back at her, "Are you mad at me or something?" I asked her.
"Or something" she said.
I went to sit back down by her."whats wrong, Kris?" I asked, but she she stood up and walked towards the door, "nothing, ill talk to you later." She said and left.
Okay then.
I took a shower and got the suit that Theo gave me to put on, the looked around the penthouse for Krista but she wasn't here. So I went to talk to Barbra.
I knocked on her bedroom door, she said come in so i did and seen her trying to get on a necklace but was struggling.
She looked at me, "Hi Jerome"she said smiling, "You clean up well" she said still working on the necklace.
"Thanks, you look nice too" i said, looking her over.
"Thanks, could you help me get this stupid thing on?" She asked, and turned around.
"Yeah" i said and grabbed the chain.
"So about tonight.." i started, then Krista walked in.
"Have you seen Jerome?" she asked as I finished clipping the necklace.
We both turned around to face her,"Never mind" she snapped then walked off.
I backed away from Barbra,"Whats up with you two?" She asked.
"I dont know, actually. She was pissed because i made her stay in the truck ealier, but she got over that. And she thinks that im into you and i dont know what her problem is" i said
She raised her eyebrow, "well is she right?" She asked.
"What do you - ohh well i dont know i mean you are gorgeous but im not like that" i said.
