"If I die James, I'm going to haunt your ass!" I yelled in a whisper, I tensed the second the death rattle came from behind me.

"You can't haunt me, I'm ghost!"

"Fine, then I'll kill you again!" I yelled a little louder, fear surging through me as the crackling sound got closer to me. I let out a small whimper as a tear trailed down my cheek

"Really? You're going to re-kill a ghost. Just out of curiousity, how's that going to work?"

"Shut up!" I yelled, feeling hot breath on the  back of my neck. Tears started falling faster as fear took over my brain. I couldn't decide which would be worse right now, dying horribly at the hands of Kayoko from the Grundge or Being killed by Richards.

"Relax, Katy." James said attempting to sooth me.

"That's not going to help James." I stated through clentched teeth to hold back a scream that was ready to rip through my throat and send Richards running into me.

"When he moves I'll move you. You just have to go a few more feet and you'll make it out just fine. Just calm down."

"I can't!" I screamed as I felt the hands clasp onto my body and pull me back.

James slapped his hand onto my mouth attempting to muffle my screams, but he forgot that he was a ghost and he couldn't touch me. I screams caused the room to light up, and I was about to see the machine that Landon and Thomas spent months working on for the room.

I'll give them credit it sounded and felt life like. Although, right now I had a very strong feeling that I would never be able to tell them. A new fear took over my body as Richerds took tenative steps toward the door.

"Great, now you've done it." James said in a huff as he disappeared.

"Where are you going?" I whispered urgently to him.

"What's whispering going to do for you now he heard you scream?" James asked sarcastically as he vanished from my sight.

"Some friend you are." I huffed as I crawled to the corner to hide, suddenly wishing the lights were back off.

On second thought, I prefer them on. The room would start being scary again in the dark, that's when all the machines and working of the room started to work.

Richards seemed to be playing the 'mime in a box' bit. He was feeling the entrance of the door and started to push through the barrier of the door when an ear spliting scream came from down the hall and jerked his attention away from the room.

"Get up! Hurry!" James said pushing me out the door.

"Where am I going!?"

"Hopefully out of this stupid house! Turn right!" He ordered sending me into the kitchen.

"Now what?"

"I don't know." He  said with a shoulder shrug.

"What do you mean you don't know?!"

"We had to go left not right!"

"well, who's fault is that!"

"It's kind of hard to think when you're busy screaming in my ears!"

"You're dead, what's it even matter!"

"If I'm dead, than I'm gone. Have fun getting out of here on your own!" James taunted as he started to disappear before my eyes.

"Come out come out where ever you are little girl." I heard coming from down the hall behind me sending chills up my spine.

"Basement?" I asked James disappering figure.

"You really wanna go back down there?" He asked with a chuckle as he disappeared completely from sight.

I let out a scared whimmper as I took off around a random corner, hoping it took me down the hallway that would lead to my room. I was wrong, I was staring down Richards from the opposite end of the hallway.

"There you are!" He called as he charge toward me.

I ran as fast as I could, but it wasn't fast enough. I felt hands grasp onto me and pull me back ward, I hit the ground hard, and that's when I blacked out.
