Kaden gracefully landed on his feet as he looked at Ivore and Baset. The blade of the sword shined in early morning sunlight as he got ready to swing at Ivore. Ivore was quick though and leaped out the way just as the sword game down near him. "You've grown weak Kaden." He held up that dirty dagger of his.

"Dad!" I hissed while leaping down with unsheathed claws. I couldn't just stand around doing nothing while Kaden was in danger. Ace stayed on the branch and watched.

Baset looked at my coldly as she let out a low hiss. "You should have stayed put mistake." She then her left hand at me with those razor sharp claws of hers unsheathed. I jerked back, her claws not even inches away from my face.

She growled at the fact that she missed, but I knew now was my chance. I swung my right hand with my precious claws unsheathed and scratched right across her furry cheek. "Don't mess with the bax." I gave a wild smirk as I swung my left hand at her and then my right hand.

Baset finally grabbed my hand and slung me down to the ground. "Your pretty small to be fighting with the big cats you know?" Her tail slowly swished as she spoke. Her face was covered in scratches that would soon heal.

Kaden pushed Baset out off me. "I thought I told you to stay put." He spoke as he faced towards Baset and Ivore. Anger shown in his dull green gaze as he looked at the pair.

"You can't protect that girl." Ivore spoke coldly.

"Aye pathic lombax." Baset agreed.

Kaden bared his teeth. "I can protect her..." His voice trailed off as his ears dropped down. Was something wrong with him?

Ivore shook his head. "Your marked ya old lombax, Kelix marked ya." His voice was cold and deadly. Marked? What did he mean marked?

Baset nodded. "The longer she stays with you the more danger she's in!" Baset hissed.

Kaden was silent for what seemed like an eternity and when he finally spoke I didn't like what he had to say. "That's why I need to get her back to her brother, trust me I'm leaving soon after but I will never let you two take her." I just stood there, wide eyed. He was going to leave again

The two just scowled. "Fine, but when you little plan fails where taking her and using her for what she was born for." Ivore hissed while turning and walking away. Baset gave a nod and followed leaving me and Kaden in the silence that surrounded us.
