Lily's POV
-the next day-
So I don't know what me and Hunter are but I also don't know how to feel about it. I'm in my living room with Adrian watching Tv when I hear my phone ringing. I look at the caller ID, 'Professor Adams'. Oh no. She never calls me. This can't be good. I hesitantly pick up the phone.
"Hello?"
"Lily, I have good news!" She says in a cheery mood. Good so far.
"What is it?" I ask, getting less worried.
"The experiment is over! It has been a good 2 months. (A/N I don't know if that's how long she was in NJ I'm too lazy to check.) we put it all together and based on your information, we have come to a conclusion. You can now come back to Florida" she says in a peppy voice. My heart drops and a frown forms on my lips.
"What?" I ask surprised.
"Is there something wrong?" She asks with concern in her voice.
"N-no I'm fine. I'll talk to you later" I say and quickly end the call without a response.
"What's up?" Adrian asks.
"We're going back to Florida" I say emotionless.
"What?!" He yells and stands up.
"I don't want to leave yet! We've barely done anything!" He says. I stay silent. He huffs and walks up the stairs.
"I'm not leaving!" He yells before I hear his door close. I walk up the stairs and open his room door to see him on his computer.
"We can't stay!" I tell him.
"Why not?" He asks frustrated.
"Because they're not going to help us anymore! They won't help me keep my secret here and I can't just come out and say 'hey everyone, by the way my name is actually Lily and I've lied to all your faces'. Everyone will hate me! Ever think of that, dipshit?!" I say to him.
"Your a dipshit" he mumbles.
"We're both dipshits for doing this stupid experiment!" I yell. He looks down.
"We're going to leave tomorrow afternoon" I say and walk out his room. I walk into my room and slam the door shut. I really don't want to leave but it won't make sense to stay here and continue to lie to everyone.
I start packing my things and within 2 hours in done. I plop on my bed and just relax. How will I break this to Ethan and Kaylee and Gray? I should have never came here. This was a mistake. I sigh and slowly doze off into a nice and peaceful nap.

I finally wake up and I look at the time to see I've been sleeping for 3 hours. I feel nice and refreshed so I go and check on Adrian. He's sleeping on his bed peacefully like baby. I giggle and walk down to the kitchen. I grab a slice of some pumpkin pie that I made the other day and walk back up to my room. I grab my phone and FaceTime Kaylee. Her face appears on the screen.
"Heyy" she says peppy.
"Hi" I say and take a bite of my pie.
"Give me some pie" she says.
"I can't give you some through the screen dummy" I say.
"Ugh" she huffs. I giggle and take another bite.
"Listen, I've got to tell you something" I say serious as I put my pie down.
"Shoot" she says. I inhale deeply before speaking,
"I'm leaving back to Florida tomorrow" I say quickly and fake a smile.
"What?!" She yells and stands up but slips because I'm guessing she slipped on her socks. She stands up quickly.
"You didn't see that" she says as her cheeks turn red.
"Sure I didn't" I say sarcastically.
"Look, I gotta go but I'll talk to you later byeeee" I say quickly before she responds and end the call. I sigh and sit on my bed.
I'm ready to go home.
