Chapter 21

Lily's POV
-the next day-

"Adrian are you almost ready?!" I yell up to him from downstairs.

"Almost" he yells back in a mad tone.

"Don't be an asshole! It's not my fault!" I yell at him. I hear him scoff and he doesn't respond. I sigh and look at my bags that are packed and ready to go. I walk to the kitchen and grab a water bottle for the hour trip to the airport. I hear the doorbell ring and I freeze. Shit, who is that?

I quietly walk to the door and look through the peep hole to see Kaylee, Ethan, and Grayson all standing there with worried faces.

Shit shit shit

Adrian comes down the stairs very loudly and I put my finger to my mouth signaling for him to be quiet. He quickly stops and looks at me with a confused look.

"Whos there?" He whispers.

"Ethan, Kaylee, and Grayson" I whisper back. His eyes widen. I never told him what happened with Grayson and I'll never tell him. Never.

"Shit, what do we do?" He asks. He clearly doesn't want to see them either.

"We know someone's in there! The lights are on" I hear Grayson say through the door.

"Shit, just stay quiet and maybe they'll go away." I say to him. He nods and doesn't move a muscle. We wait a few seconds until I hear a sigh.

"They probably left their lights on or something" Ethan says.

"What if they left already?" I hear Kaylee say in a shaky voice.

"Don't worry, they wouldn't leave without saying goodbye" Ethan responds. I hear her sigh and then feet shuffling. I look in the peep hole to see them entering Grayson's car. I watch as they drive away and sigh before facing Adrian again.

"I can't believe we're leaving" he says. I sigh and nod.

"Let's go, they're gone" I say in a sad tone. He nods and we walk out the door and to the Uber when it comes. We put all our luggage in the trunk then get in.

Goodbye New Jersey.

Grayson's POV

"You don't really think they left do you?" I ask Ethan.

"I doubt it" he says.

"They probably did because of what Gray did" Kaylee says and covers her mouth. I look at her through the rear view mirror.

"What did I do?" I ask confused.

"Nothing never mind forget it" she says quickly. I pull the car over and look at her.

"What did I do?" I ask again more sternly. She sighs.

"Fine, dickhead, you almost raped her while you were drunk off your ass the other night at the party" she says angry. My eyes widen.

"W-what? No I didn't! I couldn't have!" I say, scared that I could have since I don't remember anything from that night.

"Well you did, she told me" Ethan mumbles with his arms crossed.

"You knew?!?" I ask angry.

"No shit I knew, who do you think carried you to the house?" He asks and rolls his eyes. I sit back in my chair and think back.

I remember

"Shit" I say and rub my temple.

"She probably did leave because of me" I say in a sad voice.

All because of me and my stupid ass
