Chapter 11

Lily's POV

-the next afternoon-

I hear people talking.

"When do you think she will wake up? And who are those people that want to see her?" I hear a boy ask.

"They're probably the friends she made here. And I don't know honey. I hope she wakes up soon." I hear a woman say. They all sound familiar. I flutter my eyes open and see my family. A smile grows on my face and they look at me. They all lit up and rushed to my side.

"Oh my baby! I was so scared! Don't do that again to us! You had us worried haft to death! I'm just glad your okay! I love you so much!" Mom says and gives me a hug.

"Damn Lily, about to break my heart." Adrian says and hugs me too.

"Sweetheart I love you so much! Please be more careful." Dad says and gives me a hug also.

"Everyone I'm fine. Please just calm down. How did you guys get here and why did you guys come? You know I'm undercover" I say and pretend to look around the room like a police officer. They all laugh.

"We know but we weren't just going to not come and check on you" mom says in a duh tone.

"Okay but who does the doctor think I am?" I ask while straightening up.

"We straightened that all out, he knows your Lily but he is telling those people out there that your Mackenzie." She says.

"Kaylee and Ethan and Grayson are here?! No! They can't know I'm Lily. Don't they think it's weird that I don't live with my family but they suddenly turn up to check on me?" I ask worried.

"We told them you moved here and we stayed in Florida. Don't worry, we got this! We're pretty good actors too!" Adrian says and poses gaining a giggle from me.

"Okay, okay! Think you can send them in and give us some time?" I ask. They nod and leave the room. Before Adrian leaves, he turns around and starts speaking.

"You know, if they hurt you the I'll beat their asses right? The tall one seems a little edgy." He says worried.

"Don't worry I'll be fine. I'll call for you if I need you" I say and give him a reassuring smile. He nods and leaves the room.

A few minutes later, the three of them walk in. Kaylee gasps and runs over to me.

"Oh my god! Your okay! God you scared me!" She cried into my shoulder as we hugged.

"It's okay Kay. I'm fine and I'm alright." I say to her. She pulls away and smiles at me.

"Did you know you needed blood. Guess who gave it to you" she says. I give her a confusing look. She point to Ethan and Grayson. They roll up their sleeves to show a bandage on both their arms.

"Those two doofs" she says and I giggle.

"Thanks you guys. Come here" I say and hold my arms open. They walk to me and give me a hug. Ethan pulls away from the hug but Grayson holds on tight. I hold him tight too.

"You really scared me" he whispered to me.

"It's okay. I'm fine now. Thanks for the blood" I whisper back. He pulls away from the hug and stares into my eyes.

"Your welcome, I'm just glad your okay" he says and gives me his million dollar smile. I smile back. He starts to lean in but Kaylee clears her throat behind him and he pulls away. Kaylee gives him a 'bitch no' look and he completely pulls away from me.

"Can I talk to Mackenzie alone?" She asks. They nod and leave the room. Grayson throws me a wink before he leaves the room. That boy is such a flirt.

"Please don't tell me your falling for that" she says as she sits on the edge of the bed.

"Please. Me? Falling for him? Psh no!" I say. I can't be falling for him. Right?

"That was such a lie." She says and crosses her arms. Fuck she's right.

"No I can't like Grayson! He's been nothing but mean to me since I got here! Sure he saved my life but he still hurt me! Ugh what do I do?! I don't know how I feel! This boy is messing with my head and I feel like my brain is going to explode!" I say worried.

"Okay calm down! So answer a few questions." She pauses and I nod.

"Okay so how does he make you feel?" She asks. I feel like I'm in therapy.

"Um he makes me feel some way that I can't explain. He makes me feel safe when I'm in his arms. I feel like I can be myself around him" I say without thinking. You know when your saying something and then you get lost in thought and say what your thinking? That just happened and I didn't even know I thought that!

"Okay next question, do you see a future with him?"

"I don't know. I guess. I can see me and him living in a home together. I can see our little children running around the house. One of them looks like him and one looks like me. I can see me going on little dates together and just enjoying each other's company." I say without thinking again. I didn't think I had all of this in me. Kaylee looks at me wide eyed.

"You've got it bad!" She says.

"No! I can't! I can not like him!" I say and cross my arms.

"Sorry boo but you do" she says and puts a hand on my shoulder. I shove it off.

"No! Please help me! Help me to stop liking him! I don't want to!" I say and start to worry.

"Are you sure?"

"Yea I'm positive. Help me forget about Grayson" I say.

"Okay then, but remember you asked for this." She says. I nod. I'm not going to start liking someone like Grayson again.

I just can't..........

Kaylee's POV

I'm worried. She says she doesn't want to like him but I can tell she doesn't know what to do. This is going to be very hard because I don't think she likes Grayson.

I think she's in love with him and if she's not, she's slowly falling in love with him...........
