Sing it Again

Chapter 30

Grant's POV

I wake up and its morning and I look to see what time it is and its after eight I feel a weight on my shoulder and a body next to me I look over only to see Mallory sleeping next to me. We must have fell asleep during the movie last night I sit up and try to stretch without her waking her up I get off the couch and walk in the kitchen.

Kevin's POV

I wake up and walk downstairs and walk in the kitchen and fix a cup of Coffee I walk over and look out the window and see that other than mine and Vanessa's car there was one extra in the driveway and I wonder who went home with someone else last night I walk out on the porch and see that Mallory's car is still here. Vanessa is going to be begging her for details if she wakes up and sees the car outside this morning I walk back inside and go back into the kitchen hoping she decides to sleep longer and that Mallory will be here to get her car before Vanessa wakes up.

Mallory's POV

I sit up slowly and blink I look around and realize that I'm not at home in bed then I start to remember last night and Grant and I must have fell asleep watching The Hunger Games I stand up and stretch and let out a quiet moan. I turn around and see Grant walking in the room "Oh hey babe you're awake." "How long have you been up?" "For a little while I decided to let you sleep." Aww that is so cute I don't say that out loud I keep cool and calm. "You should probably take me to get my car now so I can go home." "Oh yeah I guess so." I look at him "Unless you had other plans?" "No I didn't really have anything planned but we could do something if you like."

Grant's POV

Why did I ask her that or even say anything I didn't have any plans and I wasn't able to come up with one off the top of my head. It's January so it isn't like we can just pop over to the beach and go swimming or go walking around a park or something I did want to do something I just wasn't sure on what we could do but I wanted it to be fun for both of us I sigh and run a hand through my hair still trying to think of something. I could ask her if she wanted to meet later on for lunch or something but then I would look kind of clingy I sigh and eventually give up on trying thinking of something that we could do today and I watch her walk in the living room to get her shoes. All I can think to myself is man I feel so stupid.

Vanessa's POV

I'm sitting in the kitchen eating breakfast with Kevin and I hear two car doors shut I walk over and look out the window and I see Grant and Mallory walking over to her car he is in different clothes but she is still wearing the same outfit from last night I gasp and start hitting Kevin on the shoulder and he moves out of my reach to where I can't hit him anymore when they walk over to her car Mal says something that makes both of them laugh and he moves a little closer to her and I wait and see if he is going to kiss her.

Grant's POV

I look at her, I know that I kissed her last night and I wasn't sure on if I should do it again because this time I wanted it to be a little slower and I wanted it to work this time "I'll call you or text you later." She looks up at me and raises an eyebrow "Will you really call this time?" "You can count on it babe maybe we can go out one night this week?" "I'd like that warbler." I really hope this nickname sticks because I like it then it hits me she has seen me on Glee she knows I'm Sebastian Smythe. I watch her start getting in her car "Hey babe what's your favorite episode of Glee?" "Season Three Episode Five it's called the first time, the warblers sing Uptown Girl." She stops talking and gets out of her car and I smile when she turns around and looks up at me.

Mallory's POV

He knows, I start freaking out and thinking of ways I could get out of this one "How did you know?" "It finally clicked that you keep calling me warbler, so tell me was it before or after we started singing that you started liking Sebastian Smythe?" I feel the heat rush to my face and I know my cheeks are bright red by now I lick my lips then gulp "It was before in fact it was when you gave Blaine that look and started walking across the room." He steps closer to me and now I'm in between him and my car door I look up at Grant who is only inches away from me "Well then I guess I will have to give you that look sometime too and I see that Sebastian Smythe smirk appear on his face and I can feel my legs getting shaky.

Grant's POV

I can't help myself I lean forward and kiss her again and after she kisses back I look down at her "I'll see you soon babe." Then I walk over to my car and drive off and when I reach home and get on the porch I pull out my phone and send a text I told you I would text you.
