Sing it Again

Chapter 53

Grant's POV

I know that she needed time and I was more than willing to give it to her but at the same time I really missed and wanted to be with her to make up for the past few days she said she didn't want to come to my place and I couldn't blame her for that after what happened the last time she was here I could go to her house and see her I get up and grab my stuff then walk out of the house and get in my car and start driving to her house.

Mallory's POV

No plans tonight for me equals pajamas and either binge watching something on Netflix or just watching a bunch of movies I hear a knock on the door I groan then walk over and answer it only to see Grant standing there "Um hey warbler what are you doing here?" "I came to see you babe do you want me to leave?" "No you can come in." He follows me and then I hear him say "Nice pajamas." I remember what I'm wearing and I look down at my Captain America pajamas I turn around and look at him "Have a seat I'll go change." He grabs my hand and keeps me from going to my room "You don't have to change babe the captain America pajamas are fine." Grant and I walk over and sit on my couch and I push play on the movie I was watching which happened to be Pitch Perfect. I curl up against Grant and he puts an arm around my shoulder.

Kevin's POV

Vanessa and I are having the guys over tonight so we can tell them about the baby we got each of them a shirt that says something about being an uncle, I'm pretty sure they are going to be as happy as we are especially Brian, and in another few weeks Vanessa and I get to find out what if we are having a boy or a girl I'm hoping for a boy and Vanessa has been really quiet so I don't know really know what she wants to have. I grab the five boxes and put them down on the table then Vanessa walks over to me I look down at her and wrap my arms around her waist and she looks up at me. I kiss her and pull her close to me and she wraps her arms around my neck then starts running her hands through my hair. We don't get to continue because the doorbell starts ringing repeatedly I sigh then walk over and open the door and let the guys in.

Vanessa's POV

I walk over and stand by Kevin and the guys all start hugging me and right away he goes into protective mode he watches every move they make and make sure no one hugs me for too long or too tight and when they let go he stays close to me all the time constantly brushing up against me or just giving me a quick touch letting me know that he is there if I need anything. After we talk for a while and make jokes about pretty much everything I notice that Nick keeps looking over at the stack of gifts that are sitting on the table and I know his curiosity is getting the best of him I get up and walk over to the boxes and pass them out then sit back down with Kevin and they all look at us. Kev looks back at them "You can open them now." They all start ripping the paper off and then tear open the boxes and each of them hold up their shirts and read them at first they are a little slow on the up take then Brian looks at us "Are you pregnant?" I nod my head then they all jump up and start congratulating Kevin and then start hugging me again and they start asking questions like when is my due date and how far along am I? Kevin and I take turns answering them and I know that with the four of these guys being the baby's uncle he or she is going to be a very spoiled child and will get everything they ask for.

Mallory's POV

After the movie ended Grant gets up off the couch "I better go babe." "You could stay if you wanted to we don't have to do anything." We both walk in my room and I go ahead and get in bed, Grant pulls off his shirt then his jeans and gets in bed with me he pulls me to him and just as I go move my leg one way my knee comes up and accidentally hits him in a very sensitive spot. He lets go of me and lets out a whimper then hides his face in the pillow and lets out a few words that aren't so nice. "Grant I'm so sorry it was an accident I swear." All he does is nod his head "Should I go get ice?" He rolls over and pulls me to him again "I'm fine babe but let's not do that again." I nod my head then start laughing at him. "Just go to sleep babe." I lay my head on his chest and slowly we both drift off to sleep.
