Chapter 1: Curiosity

I woke up to a familiar voice calling my name.

"Wanda,Wanda get up!" It was Jamie.

"What's wrong Jamie?"

He was still young but his face looked like a man. Jamie had to drop child hood once he went on the run with Mel.

"Do you remember wear Doc put the heal? He used it on Sunny the other day after she fell and now he can't find it."

"I thought he put it in the Cabinet but Tell him there is some in the left cabinet."

" Thanks Wanda. Oh by the way Ian wanted you to meet him in the kitchen."

Ian. His name gave me shivers.

I totally forgot he was going to cook for me.

Sleep has been something I rarely got anymore. Blame it on my body. It was hard to adjust.

I fixed my hair and headed to the kitchen.

There he was.

Sitting on the counter staring at the floor.

"Ian, I'm so sorry I oversleep and I..."

"I know you haven't been sleeping well, I woke up and you were so out of it. Why don't you lay back down? I'll bring you breakfast in bed"

I normally would've protested but I was so tired I couldn't argue.

Our bedroom wasn't too far from the kitchen. It was simple but perfect at the same time. I felt safe here. It felt like a permanent home. It was defiantly something I looked forward to.

I took my shoes off and lay in bed I heard someone in the doorway and assumed it was Ian.

Most people didn't come by except Jamie so it surprised me.

I wasn't prepared for what happened next.

When I turned around it wasn't Ian in the hallway, it was Kyle.
