Chapter 7: The Trip pt. 2

Wanda's POV:

I couldn't sleep all night. I know I hurt Ian but losing him would hurt worse.

I heard footsteps in the hall so I closed my eyes.

"Wanda, Wanda" somebody lightly shook me. I opened my eyes and it was Jared.

" Wanda we have to go" Jared said.

"Ok."

I got dressed, brushed my hair, and finished packing. I didn't want to wake Ian up so I kissed him on the forehead. Then I headed to Jamie's room and kissed him on the top of his head.

I then went to meet up with Jared, Sunny, and Kyle in the kitchen. They were discussing game plan.

" uh, hey" I said.

" Wanda are you ready?" Sunny asked

" Ready as I'll ever be"

Jared's POV:

I should've let Mel come. I just couldn't deal with myself if she died. This isn't like the other raids we've been on. I just got her back, I can't lose her again. I didn't want Wanda to go either, but she's safer with her own kind than she is with us.

"Seekers put your glasses on, Wanda and Sunny get up front. " Kyle Said.

We drove by them without them noticing. We made it to the Hotel.

" Wanda get one room with two beds. Jared and I will take shifts at night." Kyle said

Wanda did as she was told and got the room. Kyle and Sunny will want to sleep in the same bed. That will leave Wanda and I in the other. Great.

It was late and Wanda was snuggled in the blankets. I lay my head against the backboard of the bead. Wanda drifted to sleep in my lap. I let her stay there. She needed her rest tomorrow is going to be a big day.
