There was no reflection in the mirror. My mom opened the door and put the keys into the ignition. She pulled out of the driveway. I would never see this house again.

Time Skip (5 Hours)

I fell asleep on the way to our new house. We pulled in and my mom woke me up. I went into my room. I had a balcony that overlooked the woods. I started to unpack. ¨SCARLET!¨ my mom yelled. I went downstairs to see what she needed. She said there was someone at the door for me. I just move d here. How could somebody know who I am? I went outside and a cold hand tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around. He was the cutest guy I have ever seen. He put his finger to his mouth in a silent sign. He walked backwards to the woods. He beckoned me. I followed him. He paused and suddenly turned pale. He said not to freak out. I trusted him. ¨My name is Cole. That necklace you have on has put a curse on you. You are slowly turning into a vampire. There is nothing you can do. It takes at least a month for someone to turn. I have been a vampire for two years now.¨ I could not believe it. ¨What about my family?¨ I was worried that I might hurt my mom. ¨Don't worry. You will not be able to hurt those close to you.¨ Good. I wondered how this guy knew where I was.

Cole's POV

She was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She had pretty red hair (most likely dyed in), and the snowflakes fell onto her black clothes perfectly. I wished I could tell her how I feel, but I was just too nervous that I might get rejected because I just met her. I got it. I would jump up to her balcony when she is looking, and ask her to open it. Then I would ask her. I told her that I had to go and that she would see me tomorrow. I ran through the woods.

Scarlet's POV

He told me had to go, and said he would come back tomorrow. Then, he went unbelievably fast trough the woods. Must be one of the perks of being a vampire. I was looking forward to seeing him again. I really liked him. I hoped he liked me back.
