Chapter 4

"Home alone all day" Macy said "Yup my parents both need to work" I said sighing

"That sucks, but there is a lot of pro's to the situation" Macy said, I chuckled "yea what would I do, throw a party" I said sarcastically

"Yea like I would do that" I chuckled "Yup, well the bells about to ring we better get to class" Macy said we all stood up and left.

"Well next class is English" Eli said, I sighed "yup, at least we have a cool teacher" I said Eli nodded in agreement. We entered class and Oliver and his friends were messing around, I rolled my eyes and sat down. The teacher then came into the class room as the bell rang.

"Okay, we will be doing a project, and I was thinking we could take a break from English work and have fun since you guys did very well on the test last week" everyone cheered "but this project requires partners, assigned partners" everyone groaned, she grabbed a clip board and started calling out names.

"Suzy and Garret, Macy and Katie, Andrew and Isaiah, Eli and Caroline, Blair and Jessica, John and Madison, Suzann and Jackie, Michael and Paula, June and" I looked up at her hoping for someone good "Oliver" my mouth hung all the way open to the floor.

Oliver looked at me and laughed, I looked over at Eli and sighed, the teacher rambled the other names, I slouched in my seat cursing under my breath

"Alright now this project is going to be fun but it is for a grade, you guys will be doing a documentary about each other lives, get to know each other" she said sitting on the desk behind her.

Suzy raised her hand "what do we have to do like for the presentation?" she asked

"Anything really, a video, poster anything you want to do" she trailed off and everyone nodded "well you guys can start right now" she said.

I groaned as Oliver came over to my desk "Well partner, what do you want to do" I looked up at him and sighed "its for a grade" I mumbled to myself and I faked a smile.

"I was thinking we could do a video" I said and he nodded "okay, do you have a camera?" he asked "well..." I said, he chuckled "I got one" he said and I nodded.

"Okay" I said "where do you want meet" he asked "Um... my place would be fine" I mumbled. "Your house? Wouldn't your parents think we'll be you know" he said wiggling his eyebrows, I scoffed "no they wont be home" I said "oh." he said smirking.

"Ew no, they both have to work you perv" I groaned, he chuckled "your so annoying" I said "that's my job" he said, I rolled my eyes "whatever" I said.

"When will we meet up" he asked, "anytime is fine" I sighed. "Good, then how bout next week sometime" he suggested, I nodded "ok don't forget to bring the camera" I said.

After 20 minutes of torture Mrs. Teresa told us to go back to our seats, I sighed of relief "alright you guys must meet up in order to finish this project obviously, now" but the bell cut her off "Okay, leave this is for a grade! Remember!" she said as I hopped out my seat and walked to history with Eli.

"I almost died, why didn't you help me?!" I exclaimed, Eli looked at me and chuckled "sorry I couldn't Caroline wouldn't shut up" he said, I laughed

"So what are you two gonna do?" I asked "um maybe a poster, you?" he asked "a video" I said. "Cool, you know if you tell Kacey she's gonna f-" I cut him off "I know, I know don't remind me" I said smiling.

"Well that class sucked" I said sitting down at the lunch table "wow we're actually in the cafeteria" Kacey said, I glared at her "thanks for the concern, and we should go to the Library or auditorium" I said.
