Chapter 11

"So you and Hunter huh?" Kacey asked wiggling her eyebrows, I gave her a flat look "me and Hunter are just friends, no more, no less" I said.

It had been a couple of days since Hunter moved here and we have gotten along quite well, if I say so myself. We've got a lot of things in common, he's like my second brother in all honestly.

"Hey, what about your project with Oliver?" Kacey asked, then I realized our project was due this week "that's right" I groaned slapping my forehead. I had totally forgotten about the project with Oliver, I was spending so much time with Hunter that it slipped my mind.

"I can't believe you ditched the party" Kacey whined as we walked down the hallway, I looked at her "you should've have expected it from me" I said in an obvious tone.

"Yea well you ditched me, for Hunter" she pouted, it was true Hunter wanted to hang out with me all last week, so we did. Sam, Kayla or Kacey didn't go to the party all because I didn't, well it's for the better.

"I'm sorry, how can I make it up to you?" I asked, her face brightened up as I said that "mall, tomorrow, after school" she smiled, I nodded my head. Well I had gotten myself into this I might as well go.

"Hey Oliver" I said seeing him ahead of me, he looked back and smirked "sup, so where's your boyfriend?" he asked looking around as if this "boyfriend" was with me. I glared at him "Hunter isn't my boyfriend" I snapped, I cleared my throat and continued what I was saying "and I was wondering if we could finish our project after school, at my place" I said crossing my arms over my chest. As you could see I no longer wanted to be talking to him even though we had just started talking.

He smirked pervertedly "oh your place?" he said putting his arms around my waist, I got out of his grip "yes, my place" I rolled my eyes "I want to edit the video since I kinda blew it off last week when we were suppose to" I said annoyed.

"Sure whatever, I'll be there after school" he winked and left, then shivers went down my spine. Man he annoys me.

"Hey" someone said, I could already tell that it was Hunter, he was walking up beside me "whats up?" he asked as we began to walk. "Nothing really, but after school I need to finish a project with Oliver" I groaned, Hunter chuckled "sounds like fun" he joked. I rolled my eyes "ha ha, very funny Hunter"

We walked to first period and I sat down next to Eli. I looked over at him, he was on his phone. I bit my lip, a couple days ago we broke up. We made it official that we weren't meant to be and that we were better off friends. Things weren't as awkward as I thought, it was about as normal as normal could be.

I smiled at him "hey, how's the tutoring going?" I asked referring to Macy, he smiled "it's good" he said in a giddy kind of tone.

I raised an eyebrow suspicious "that was a pretty bright and cheerful 'good' " I said. He flushed and and I gasped "you like Macy!!" I gushed.

He blushed harder "oh my gosh, you do like Macy!" I squealed almost hopping out of my seat and hitting his shoulder "keep it down" he hissed. I chuckled "sorry, it's just... you like Macy!!" I squaled again, I'm sorry I can't help it.

He rolled his eyes, probably annoyed "ok, I get it" he mumbled, then the teacher came in "this is not over" I smiled.

As I was walking through the hallways Hunter had put his arms around my waist from behind, before he could lift me up and do anything else I got out if his grip "alright flirt boy let's go to lunch" I laughed. I wasn't walking with Eli because he had already left early to see Macy. AWE!! I thought.

Hunter chuckled "whatever" he said poking my forehead "ow" I pouted rubbing my forehead.

He smiled amused "come on they're waiting for us in the auditorium". We walked into the auditorium and Hunter looked at me "you know I never knew why you go to the auditorium instead of the cafeteria" he said as we walked to the auditorium, I shrugged "we do here and there, but we like the auditorium better"
