Chapter 13

i stayed home because i was sick...Again, i stayed in bed, Sam has been taking care, right now he was out getting some fresh air, my bed felt warm, "June" i heard someone say, but it wasn't Sam, i didn't say anything just starred at the wall opposite of the door "its me Hunter" he said, i turned and Hunter was standing at the door "i heard you were sick, so i came to visit" he smiled i didn't say anything, i was tired, he frowned "so I'm getting the silent treatment huh?" he said pouting, i smiled at him

"well i didn't come alone" he smile, then Eli, Macy, and Kacey walked through my door, i smiled, "wow you look horrible" Macy chuckled i frowned they chuckled "kidding, we thought since you were sick, on a Saturday, we brought the party to you" they said, i smiled and nodded, Macy, Eli and Hunter went downstairs to wait for me but Kacey stayed, she sat on my bed, i up beside "tell me the real reason your home, i know your sick but somethings keeping you down" she said i shook my head, "I'm your best friend i know somethings up" she said, i sighed, i got up and opened my drawer, i took out the picture of me, Sam, Gran Gran, and Grandad, i smiled, i handed her the picture, her face filled with realization "oh your grandad" she said hugging me "he'll be fine" she said rubbing my arms, she put the picture on the desk "come on their picking a movie" she smiled

"Lets watch titanic" Kacey said placing the last blanket on the floor, me and Hunter were on the couch while Kacey, Eli and Macy shared the floor, i laid on the Hunters Chest, and he put his arm around me, Sam was in his bed doing whatever he wants to do

i fell asleep halfway through the movie, i was really tired, "well they seem cozy" i heard someone say "ok but that doesn't explain why my daughters in a boy's arms, a boy i don't know" i heard my dad say "he's my friend don't worry" i mumbled "your awake" my mom asked "yup you guys are loud" i chuckled, the laughed, i sighed, i looked up and everyone was sleeping, i got out of Hunter's grip, i laid him down and put the blanket over him, i went to the kitchen and got a water bottle and some Advil, i had a headache, i went to my room and fell asleep

"dance camp starts Wednesday" Kacey reminded "yea i know you reminded a couple times now" i laughed she nodded "hey Hunter how are they treating you anyways?" i asked he nodded "great its actually really fun, i just learned how to salsa and tango" he chuckled i rolled my eyes "great" i laughed

"how are you feeling?" Kacey whispered i nodded my head "I'm good my fever went down" i smiled she gave me a flat look "oh that, um i've been better" i said looking down to the ground "b-but um they called yesterday and they said he wouldn't slip into a coma any more they say he doesn't have the signs or symptoms to slip into a coma" i said looking at her she gave me a pity look "you don't need to pity me" i said then the bell rang "lunch" Hunter said "good I'm starving" he said me and Kacey laughed, "hey where's Eli and Macy?" Kacey asked "tutoring" i said "ohh tutoring, you know what that means" Hunter said making smooching faces me and Kacey laughed "no weirdo i mean actually studying in science class" i said as we walked to the cafeteria "oh so we're eating here now" Hunter said raising his eye brow "yes I'm to lazy to walk to the auditorium" i said sitting at a table "wow low just low" Kacey said sitting next to me

i shook my head and laid my head on the table "oh my head hurts" i groaned "again June that's the second time today you should really go to the nurses office" Kacey said rubbing my arms, i groaned in pain, "June" Hunter asked curiously, i rubbed my temples, but it only made it worse, i groaned "June go to the nurses Office" i breathed heavily, it was painful, "we'll walk you" Hunter said, they stood up, i stood up with them

"she's been having major headaches" Kacey said, i laid on the bed, i closed my eyes, i groaned, "ok you guys may leave" the nurse said, i heard them leave, i kept my eyes closed, i heard the nurse came up beside me "you need to take some aspirin sweetie" she said, i shook my head, "sweetie i know it hurts but it'll make it feel better" she said, i slowly sat up and slowly opened my eyes, she handed me a water bottle and a pills, i took them and laid back down "can you tell me when these headaches started" she asked
