Graduating. Percy was finally graduating from college! Even though he disappeared for eight months some how the gods made it seem like he hadn't missed any school at all. Percy smiled in the mirror as he adjusted his tie that Annabeth had gotten him.

It was blue and gray diagonal, long, thick stripes. Percy had told Annabeth that he couldn't come to her graduating ceremony, but he found a way. Percy turned to his room mate, a boy named Andy, who was a junior.

"Well, how do I look?" Percy asked.

"Swag." Andy replied not bothering to look up from his iPhone.

"Andy!" Percy called out louder. Andy looked up.

"Well, aren't you looking fiiinnne." Andy mocked.

"I especially like that tie. Didn't know you had style!" Andy praised. Percy chuckled to himself.

"I don't, Annabeth picked it out for me." Percy explained. Andy smiled.

"You two getting serious?" Andy asked as he set his iPhone down. Percy rose an eyebrow as he put on his coat.

"What do you mean by that?" Percy asked. Andy laughed at him.

"I mean, you two, are you guys getting married one day?" Andy asked. Percy rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, we both known that for a while." Percy replied, leaning against the wall by the door. Andy laughed at him.

"Are you going to ask her or what!" Andy exploded. Percy thought he sounded like a daughter of Aphrodite.

"Dude are you a chick or something? Your acting like a teenage girl." Percy said. Andy laughed.

"How long have you two been dating exactly?" Percy smiled.

"About...six years?" Percy replied, scrunching his eyebrows together as he thought. Andy let out a low whistle.

"Dang! As soon as I turned 18 I would've been shopping!" Andy said and laughed. Percy rolled his eyes and grabbed his jacket.

"Whatever man. I gotta go, I'll see you tonight." Percy called as he opened the door.

"Good luck!" Andy called out and Percy closed the door behind him.

"My baby boy is all grown up!" Percy's mom cried as Percy exited the gymnasium. His mom engulfed him in a hug and planted a kiss on his cheek.

"Moooommm." Percy complained loudly. His mom laughed and smiled.

"I am so proud of you. I just want you to know that. I am always proud of you." Percy smiled. His mom often told him that ,but each time she did he felt proud that he wasn't a screwed up kid.

"I know ,Mom. You've told me." Percy said. His mom smiled at him.

"I just told you again so quite complaining!" His mom cried out with a laugh. Percy smiled and looked at his watch. He had to leave for the airport in two hours. His mom rose an eyebrow.

"Have a date?" She asked. Percy smiled at her and shook his head.

"Nah, I told Annabeth I couldn't make it to her graduation, the tickets were a little too expensive. But, being the amazing awesome boyfriend I am, I bought a ticket and will be seeing her graduate." Percy explained, a smug smile creeping across his face. His mother laughed at him.

"That is so old fashioned! Everyone loves that kind of surprise though." His mother smiled and hugged him.

"Hey, what's wrong ,mom?" Percy asked a little confused.
