My Amen

I feel like I'm in high school again, 

You're the best guy friend and I'm this ambitious girl, 

We're on the school bus and laughing,

We fell in love, we have struggles and we survived.

Our love gets stronger by each passing time.

We're not perfect and it's not always rainbows.

But I'm proud of our love, I'm proud of that special love we're sharing.

I'm proud that I'm your girl and you promised that I'll always be. 

You're the love song that will forever play in my head,

And the heart that beats and pumps blood,

The ecstasy.

My amen.
