Another night of promiscuity and music passed by Aubrey. The girl he was with got up before him, left a note and exited his Toronto condo. She roomed with his cousin Ryan and his best friend chubs. They had girls of their own but Aubrey didn't pay much attention because he was 21 and this was the drunkest he's ever been. MySpace music success had gotten him pretty far and he was taking full advantage of it. His conquest in acting had been completed. His conquest in music was half way there but there wasn't much regarding that that he needed to worry about. He had one final thing on his mind and it was pretty unusual for someone who basically had the world in the palm of his hands. It was love. But he still partied and had sex with anyone he could trust for that one night before he knew he could settle down. He still had an awkward ritual, though. He would sit outside an ex's house and stare, think, write or anything that came to mind. It was really awkward but it inspired a lot of writing. His friends thought it was pretty creepy but that's what made him a good and real artist. It was 10:00 on a Wednesday and Aubrey was outside of Forest Hill in his relatively new model Acura. Someone walked up to the opened window and stuck their head in it.

The Person: Anyone that's seen you the same time on the same day but different week would think that you're stalking someone.

Aubrey (Lifting his head up from dozing off): It used to be like that. But it's just to get the creative juices going.

The Person (Laughing): And is it working?

Aubrey: I'll tell you when I get my first Grammy.

The Person (Laughing): You're funny. I'm Averie-Alexis.

Aubrey: Aubrey. (Smiling) Do you wanna get something to eat?

Averie: I can eat.

Aubrey took Averie to chipotle.

Aubrey (Eating his burrito bowl): So do you just stick your head into people's car windows randomly or is there some neighborhood watch thing I don't know about?

Averie (Sipping her soda): No, the place that you're staring into is mine. At first I was gonna mace you but you're cute. So I decided not to blind you.

Aubrey laughed. His blackberry went off in his pocket but he ignored it as he wanted to finish reading Averie. She looked confident and daring. Nothing about her looked weak if you counter the fact that her gaze could weaken the devil himself. Aubrey wasn't thinking on the terms of "this was the perfect girl for me" but he also wasn't thinking on the level that this was his next sexual conquest.
