#TheMotionFanfic [Chapter 12]

Matt and Averie were still at Aubrey's party. Averie was at a deluxe vendor table looking at all the food she could eat to soak up all the liquor she had. Aubrey found her again and pulled her away into the bathroom. Awkwardly enough, no one saw them or him pulling her out the party. And Matt was too busy being star struck. Aubrey locked the door behind him.

Averie: What the hell are you doing?

Aubrey: Look, we need to talk.

Averie: About what?!

Aubrey: About us. I know you still feel something. I know you've always felt something.

Averie: We keep doing this back and forth on and off thing. And the thing is, we're never on or forth. This is ridiculous.

Aubrey: It doesn't have to be.

Averie: How so?

Aubrey: Tell me you love me.

Averie: What?

Aubrey (Putting his hands on her arms): Tell me that you hide your feelings to avoid me hurting you. Tell me you've heard every song I did and felt like I was talking to you. Tell me I've changed your perspective on relationships and that even thought everyone talks and listens that you still want something with me. Tell me that you're ready to actually be with me.

Averie looked Aubrey in his eyes. Averie didn't know how to admit all that at once when they almost stopped talking all together because she couldn't admit that she was in love with him. Averie kissed Aubrey and Aubrey grabbed her hands and pulled her off him.

Aubrey: That's not what I want, Averie! You need to be honest with how you feel. If its not with me then you need to at least be honest with yourself.

Averie: I am honest with myself.

Aubrey: Then be honest with me.

Averie looked at Aubrey. Someone knocked on the door.

Matt (From outside): Hey, is someone in there?

Aubrey (Yelling): Yeah, I'll be out soon.

Matt: Oh, hey man! Have you see Averie?

Aubrey (Looking at Averie): I don't know where she is.

Matt walked away from the door. And Averie and Aubrey kept staring at each other.

Averie: Say something.

Aubrey looked at Averie. As immature as he may seem, he wanted Averie to admit her feelings once and for all and admit that it's complicated for her to be in love. He just wanted honesty and he could work on himself later. Averie kissed Aubrey. He tried to pull her off him but he couldn't really resist it. Averie finally backed away.

Aubrey: What are you doing?

Averie: I'm trying to show you how I feel about you.

Aubrey: Averie-

Averie kissed Aubrey again. And kept kissing him. Aubrey grabbed Averie and held her. It was getting hotter and heavier as Averie started to slip down but someone knocked on the door and interrupted them.

Chubbs (From outside): Yo, Aubs, you gotta get out there. What are you doing?

Aubrey: Uh, yeah, I'll be out in a minute.

Aubrey grabbed Averie's face.

Aubrey: I'll be home late. But be at my place.

Averie: I don't take orders from anyone.

Averie grabbed Aubrey and kissed him one last time.

Averie: You keep me waiting, I'll ruin your career.

She walked out slowly and left with Matt.

[When They Got Home]

Averie took off her heels and put her hair into a ponytail as Matt stormed through the kitchen. Averie followed him in.

Averie: What's wrong?

She walked behind him and put her arms around him. Matt moved away and turned to her.

Matt: You think I don't know about you and him?

Averie (Looking absolutely surprised): Me and who?

Matt: Him! Drake? He was supposed to be your "good friend" right? Good friends don't hook up with each other in the bathroom!

Averie: I don't know what you're talking about.

Matt: You know what I'm talking about! Where were you for the 20 minutes you were both missing from the party?!

Averie: He wasn't missing. And if he was, I wasn't with him.

Matt (Walking out of the kitchen): I'm out of here. Keep denying yourself from something good to chase some rapper who's fucking other women.

Matt stormed out of Averie's place and she never heard from him. Averie felt like she had everything in order. Her and Aubrey weren't seeing people, at least she wasn't seeing anyone and Aubrey was too busy to the best of her knowledge. Averie called Aubrey a few times and when she didn't get a response, she went upstairs and got undressed and went to bed.

Around about 3 AM, sleeping Averie heard a knock at her door. She ran downstairs in nothing but a robe and opened the door angrily.

Averie: What are you doing here, Drake?

Aubrey (Walking that): Don't call me that.

Averie: Fine. (Closing the door behind him) What are you doing here Aubrey?

Aubrey: Don't get an attitude with me. I was busy. I would've came earlier but-

Averie: You got caught up. Well, I was sleep so-

Aubrey: Sleep with me.

Averie: No. No.

Aubrey (Looking around): Where's your little friend?

Averie: He left when he found out...or realized that we hooked up in the bathroom.

Aubrey (Walking into the living room as Averie followed): Ohh...I see.

Averie: You ruined my relationship.

Aubrey: No. You ruined your relationship by getting with the guy that you know you want but don't know how to be with. The only reason you were with captain long neck is because you can't face the fact that you...the girl that dies inside at the thought of love are in love with me. Someone who is relatively unobtainable and has a share of bad relationships.

Averie stood there and looked at Aubrey. She started to go through the living room to the kitchen (you can walk to Averie's kitchen from her front door and steps leading upstairs and through her living room) but Aubrey grabbed her arm. She spun back around to him and Aubrey slipped his arm in her robe and held her waist.

Aubrey: I'll take this slow. (Holding here tighter) Like we're in Houston.

Aubrey winked at Averie and kissed her.
