rain-beads pick out
sculptural tangles -
empty boughs
pearled with dim cloud-light;
and on thorn brush, alike,
each spiked twig's jut
is traced with pearl strings,
laced with cloud-bulbs under-slung.Straggle trails -
branches sway slowly
before wet roof-slate.Flutter-flicker,
jitter-judder,
flocklets wheel and turn about,
patrolling black on white,
their silent movie, pulsing.
