I didn't draw this, I used google.
As Sally was helping Pepper move some furniture into certain rooms Jarvis announced, "Mr.Rogers is here early. Shall I let him in?"
"Go ahead." Sally said and Pepper gave her a quick thanks before turning back to the phone in her hand yelling at a person who messed up the order for Clint's room.
Sally rolled her eyes and directed the guy bringing in a old TV and a slightly newish TV to put it into the floor for Steve himself.
The only warning she had before Steve arrived was the ding of the elevator before it opened. He looked hesitant and awkward and Sally smiled to herself.
Walking over she noticed Steve's questioning eyes. Of course he only knew Tony and Pepper never meeting Sally before.
Sally gave a smile and held out her hand, "Sally Jackson, Tony's friend. Give us a little bit and your room will be finished." she said with a smile.
"Steve Rogers ma'am." Steve said being a gentleman and smiled at her, "but you don't need to worry about my room. I don't need much."
Sally just shook her head lightly in amusement, "Sorry Cap but you'll be living here. I'm making sure you have a nice place to hang out and sleep in." Sally said with a smile.
"But don't you have something else you want to be doing?" he asked and Sally directed him toward the living room which was the floor above.
"Not really. I have a project due by the end of the week but it only needs a few tweaks that I can do later. Honestly, I don't have much I need to do. Plus, I'm helping the Avengers." Sally said with a smile easing Steve that she doesn't have anywhere else she needs to be.
As they entered the kitchen Steve changed the subject, "So, how'd you meet Tony?" he asked curious
Sally smiled and Steve took note how she smiled a lot, "We bumped into each other in high school." Sally said and there seemed to be a hidden thing in it that made her smile widen.
"What do you mean?" Steve asked curious.
"I mean we literally bumped into each other. Both got knocked to the ground. We parted ways and I hoped to never see him again but guess what, he was in three of my four classes and eventually we just became friends."
"So, you just became friends?" Steve asked clarifying it.
"Yes. A 10 year old and a 12 year old became friends because they shared practically all their classes together." Sally confirmed
Steve frowned and looked at Sally a bit weird, "I thought you said you two were in high school?" he asked
Sally made it look like a light bulb went on above her head, "Right, you don't know much about now. Ok, so children are allowed to skip grades if they are smart enough. Tony was 10 when he went into high school and I was 12." Sally said smiling at Steve and Steve liked how she didn't call him old like it seemed everyone else did, honestly he was in his 20's, totally he might be over 70 but his mind and body are only 20.
Steve rubbed the back of his neck a bit awkwardly, "I don't know much that has changed over time. Tony says things that are from movies that I don't know. I learned a bit but I still don't really know how to use much. Still surprised by the phones." Steve said looking annoyed at his phone.
"I could teach you if you want?" Sally suggested and instead of letting his answer and deny the time she picked up his phone and started to explain it carefully.
Steve relenting allowed her and asked questions about settings. They spent 2 hours just learning about the phone and afterward Steve felt he knew the thing that called people much better and some of it's history as it was and Sally herself never got frustrated or annoyed. She seemed happy to explain the modern day to Steve.
