Sally rang the doorbell at Stark Mansion on May 29, or in other words. Tony Stark's birthday. There was a party going on the Howard was just going to use for media purposes.
Jarvis invited Sally in with a tight smile, "I'm glad you're here. Young Master seems to not be having much of a happy night."
Sally's own smile tightened but it was still genuine, "Thanks for inviting me Jarvis." Sally said her own birthday was in a month and she already talked it over with Tony to just spend it outside probably in the park.
She slipped inside and saw a lot of adults and children too around as she tried to find the birthday boy, his gift underneath her arm as she looked around.
Jarvis had to go get some more food for the guests leaving her alone with an apologetic smile. Maria Stark was also around and about but looked like she wanted to rest for a bit but there was determination in her eyes and when she saw Sally smiled at her.
Sally liked Maria, she was a good mother and tried to do things even if she is sick. Maria pointed toward the stairs and when Sally looked she saw Tony on the stairs looking pretty miserable.
She walked over confidently and even as she neared Tony still didn't look up, "Well this seems like a suckish party." she said out loud and was satisfied to see Tony's head snap up to hers.
"You forgot to open a present Birthday Boy." Sally said handing her gift to Tony.
Tony was still in shock as he took the gift and looked hesitant as he peaked over at his father, "Relax, he somewhat knows I'm here. You mom talked him into letting me come." Sally said taking the seat next to Tony.
As she sat she pushed his shoulder with her own, "So, open it. Wait, let me get my camera." The reason she kept a camera with her is because part of her wants to become a reporter or at least something to do that's interesting.
"May 29, Tony Stark's Birthday. Features the Birthday Boy. Just came and trying to have him open his present." Sally said to the camera before switching it over to Tony.
"Ok, now you can open it." Sally said feeling pleased.
"I still don't get why you record pretty much everything." Tony said rolling his eyes not moving to open the present.
"Because I'm that awesome. Now open the dang present or I will." Sally said with a huff as the camera zoomed out a bit.
Tony rolled his eyes once more and deliberately opened the present slowly, "Tony." was the warning tone that Sally gave Tony when she knew he was doing something to annoy her.
Tony smiled and ripped off the rest of the wrapping paper and his mouth opened in shock, "Yo-you. Seriously!" Tony's face was one of pure happiness.
"How'd you even find it!" Tony asked as he carefully took out a set of Captain America cards. All of them literally even some that were barely publish or even known to the public.
"I tracked down the manufacturers and from there followed the money trail. Talked to the people who actually made the cards and from there tracked down and got them. Maria and Jarvis helped actually get them as I just tracked them down.
Tony jumped up and the camera shook as Tony wrapped around Sally in a big hug, "Thank you!" he said giddy.
He pulled away and looked at the cards in awe and very carefully looked over each of them, "These are amazing." Tony whispered in awe.
"Come on idiot. Let's put them in your room so no other kid tries to take them." Sally said pulling Tony up and toward Tony's room.
The camera was still playing and it swung to make sure Maria saw them. She did and sent them a smile as she was standing next to a mostly drunk Howard who seemed to at least be good at acting sober.
Giving a thumbs up to Maria she raced after Tony. The camera was still rolling as Sally opened the door for Tony because he wasn't looking at where he was going.
The camera swung around the room fast before going in on Tony who looked up because of the difference in lighting. Neither of them turned on the bedroom lights yet.
"Where should we put these?" Tony asked
Sally rolled her eyes even if the camera couldn't see, "Don't you have a box of baseball cards around here?" Sally asked
"These are too valuable to put them with other cards." Tony said with a glare.
Sally huffed, "I meant get the box, take out the other cards, and put them in there. You can figure out what to do with the other cards later. Maybe we can get a special box that has Captain America on it and then place them in there. But for right now there's cake downstairs and I want some."
"You and cake. I swear one day you're going to get fat." Tony said with a roll of his eyes doing what she suggested.
Sally huffed, "I workout more than you do. In fact I can totally beat you rich boy ass. Actually, I have before. When you think you can let me know and I'll show you in your place." Sally said
Tony just huffed and rolled his eyes before placing the box gently on his dresser.
"Do you have a key to the room. I don't trust leaving the door unlocked with all those snotty rich kids downstairs with grabby hands." Sally asked Tony.
"I'm a snotty rich kid?" Tony asked with an insulted look.
"You're the snottiest of rich kid here." Sally said rolling her eyes.
Tony put his hand against his heart, "I'm wounded. Utterly wounded."
"You aren't shit." Sally said rolling her eyes.
"Ooooh! Sally said a bad word. Don't let Jarvis know you said that." Tony said with mock awe
Sally rolled her eyes, "I would love to see what he would do." she said with a huff.
"Not let you have dessert." Tony said instantly
There was a pause, "That man is evil." she said serious
Tony started laughing and grabbed a key near the door to lock the door behind them. Sally joined a bit and went out the door and watched as Tony locked the door, "There. Now no one but us can get in here." Tony said pleased.
"Except Jarvis." Sally said instantly and then her and Tony grinned.
"Race you outside!" Tony said before sprinting down the back stairs away from the party.
"Not fair! I have a camera!" Even as she said that she closed the camera and took off toward Tony.
