Voting Note: So, I'm going to be wrapping this up soon. Maybe one or two more chapters after this one. Then I'm going to mark this as finished and work on the one similar to this but has a different ending, so instead of it being Sally/Steve like this one, it might be Sally/Rhodey, or Sally/Clint. It depends on the results but here is what I have:

Sally/Bruce
Sally/Bucky
Sally/Clint
Sally/Coulson (?)
Sally/Loki
Sally/Rhodey
Sally/Tony

Time Skip: Two Years

Sally figured the day would come, the day the weirdness invaded her life. For one, Clint had invited his family, which was kept a secret for some reason from her, to the tower.

So a little boy was running around and keep Clint on his toes while his daughter was working on homework for school calmly, and his boy I think was somewhere doing something probably with his Aunt Natasha or Tony.

Both of which were a deadly combination, especially tomorrow with Barton's son. May the gods help prank week go by smoothly, although knowing Hermes and Apollo, it didn't seem to be in her favor.

She already had to change her shirt when purple paint got sprayed on it, the oops from the air vents didn't help.

Or the toys that were left all over the floor. The times she almost slipped from stepping on some rubber toys or god forbid the Lego's that just seemed to be everywhere.

She didn't even know why she was still in the tower. She didn't even live there. She was just excited to meet Clint's family, which she was starting to regret.

Sighing as she flopped onto the couch, and then shifted to move the dinosaur stuffed creature, she was ready to go back to her small house out of New York that wasn't being invaded by the three creatures of hell plus the Avengers.

She was even packed and had let them know she would be leaving in the morning. The only request that she got was to stay until Lunch and wait for Steve to return home from this SHIELD mission he was currently on.

Lucky bastard, he didn't have to deal with the hell. Who knew that apparently Barton's kids were the devil? And not the Children of Hades kind but devil, devil kind. Like the one that you keep cursing at, or at least where he lives.

Feeling exhausted from being the only responsible person in the place (Banner was doing this Chemistry Convention thing in Maine) she was about ready to just sleep for a week.

So of course when she did fall asleep she felt herself being pulled toward awakening when water got dumped on her, but then she fell into a deeper sleep when she instantly was dry and felt so much calmer and not in her mind.

She buried her head into the pillow the next time she was somewhat conscious. A hand was rubbing her back lightly and she knew it well enough to know it was Steve's smoothing her stressful.

Allowing herself to relax and feel calm knowing no pranks would go her way with Steve here, "It's time to get up." she heard him whisper in a soothing voice.

"Hmm." Sally made the noise as she buried herself in the comfortable sheets feeling tired and way too comfortable.

"Come on. I have a surprise for you on the roof." Steve muttered to her and Sally felt curious but just hummed again but then turned her head to face Steve.

"Do I have to get up?" Sally almost whined but stuck out her bottom lip anyway in a small pout. All she got in response was a grin and a quick kiss to her lips, which was an answer all in itself.

"Oh alright." Sally said moving to get out from the warm covers and briefly shivered when the cool air hit her skin. Getting dressed quickly and pulling on one of Steve's sweatshirt for warmth, Sally made her way up to the roof and ignored the small October breeze.

Instead she felt herself smile and relax as a small picnic had been set up that overlooked New York, "This is wonderful." Sally said grinning and giving Steve a peck on his lips.

Steve just grinned and had this look in his eyes that promised more of a surprise. But he didn't say anything as Sally relaxed against him, his arms wrapped around her as they both ate sandwiches he made in content silence.

"Now for the real surprise." Steve said shifting behind Sally once they finished eat to stand and pull Sally up with him until she was standing in front of him looking slightly confused.

She wasn't confused anymore when Steve suddenly went down on one knee, her eyes instantly lite up and excitement crammed into her heart.

"Sally Minerva Jackson. You are the most wonderful person I have met and I don't think I could ever thank enough people for meeting you. When I first got out of ice I didn't know anyone and everything I knew was gone or had shifted completely. But there you were, by my side and helped me understand the world that I had been awoken to. Your smile made me smile and your laugh made me feel so happy that I always just wanted to hear it. I don't know what I would've done without meeting you so I ask you. Sally Minerva Jackson, will you marry me?" Steve asked as he produced a small blue box that held the most extravagant ring she had ever seen.

She herself was actually having trouble seeing a little bit because of the tears that gathered in her eyes and how her throat seemed to have closed up with such joyfulness that she had to nod and then let out a croak of, "Yes. Yes absolutely."

Steve eagerly stood up and Sally crashed into him with a kiss feeling the world seemed to have bloomed under her feet. She heard a click and when she pulled away from Steve, still smiling like crazy, she saw Clint Barton holding a camera sheepishly.

"Gotta document it somehow." he said with a shrug before ushering his children, his wife who seemed to have arrived this morning from their farm, and the other Avengers inside.

Well everyone but Tony who con graduated Sally himself and explained that anything she needed just ask him. When Sally was about to say he didn't have to he went out of his way to make the point he was Best Man and that it was his duty that the thing went smoothly and met all that she dreamed.

Then he just gave a pat on Steve's back with a comment about the 90-Year-Old-Virgin not being so much anymore, then just said have a nice day Capsicle. Before he made his way back to his workshop while Sally shook her head in amusement before looking at the ring her fiancée had given her.

Note: I might make a filler chapter for between years with Poseidon threatening Steve. But I definitely will make a wedding chapter and then the chapter for Percy. That might be it afterward. But if you have any ideas just let me know.
