Like Poseidon when did you get this gigantic?
So...rereading a few chapters before and apparently the Avengers already knew about the Greek Gods and stuff. So some of this chapter is repeating and kinda unnecessary. My bad.
Sally was normally pretty good at telling her family who she was dating, the fleeting times she did that was.
Though this was probably the longest time that she hasn't told her family, and that was pretty much an accident on her part.
You know with the whole Superhumans/Mutants, villains trying to take over the world, Bucky Barnes coming back to life, Avengers Initiative, The Avengers fight, Ultron....She may have been a bit busy.
Which is why it was totally her fault that her father had to find out about her fiancé through Aphrodite.
It was also the reason for the sudden appearance of said father in Sally's living room while Steve was off with the Avengers talking about whatever-the-hell Avengers talked about.
"Dad?" Sally asked confused at the sudden appearance.
"Hey kiddo." Poseidon said with this dangerous gleam in his eye, "so where's the man that I have to threaten?" Poseidon asked while looking around the small house with a dangerous gleam in his eye.
Sally's eyes instantly harden and her surprised expression instantly fell into a dangerous one, "If you even think about hurting Steve..." he voice trailed off and Poseidon instantly understood he was on dangerous grounds.
But he wasn't Poseidon if he couldn't handle shaky ground now was he, instead he just grinned, "What? Can't a father meet her daughters fiancé without a small talk about treating their daughter right?" he asked with a grin that made Sally narrow her eyes.
"No." Said simply and pointed toward the door, her onyx hair a little messy but helped increase the hardness of her sea green eyes, "now out."
Instead of following his daughters orders he just pouted, "Now, now. I wouldn't do that. However would Triton react if he knew his sister was being married and no one gave the man a simple threat about treating his fiancée like a good gentleman? And if he ever hurts here that all his bones will be broken and he would have the threat of the gods upon him?" Poseidon asked innocently that made Sally eyes harden but also looked like she wanted to sigh in exasperation.
"I hate the fact I have the favor of the gods sometimes." Sally sighed with a simple eye roll and at Poseidon's gleeful expression she narrowed her eyes once more.
